There was a thread somewhere here that eventually discussed if human conciseness and intentions can affect the outcome of a physical experiment. This board moves so fast I’ve lost where it was. I want to post some of my own insights I have on the subject but it’s something I’d like to take some time to figure out exactly how to express my ideas. They’re quite a bit different than how the subject was discussed. However….

In UFO magazine a couple (few?) years ago there was an advertisement for a book on the very same subject. I remember thinking it seemed to express some ideas similar to my own. I never got around to ordering it but wished I had. I was also in a bad mood one day and deleted the bookmark I had set up as a link to ordering it along with a million other things. After reading the thread I really want to see if I can locate it. Perhaps someone will know what book it is and be kind enough to let me know.

All I can remember is that the author was a “materials scientist” and I believe he teaches at a university in the Midwest. Also I remember his appearance reminded me of the old band leader Mitch Miller.

Sorry, I know that’s not much to go on. It’s a long shot if anyone can help me find the book but I thought I’d throw it out here. The only other thing I remember was that the ad for it was either a whole column long on the left side of the magazine or almost a whole column long. The web page for the book and author also discussed many types of physical experiments (one was with a battery) and how thoughts affected it.

Thanks!

Did you see the new one on CNN today? There's a picture of the debate. It looks like Bush is wearing something under his suit. The conspiracy theorist are saying it's a transmitter and he was getting cues from his team.
