Kid brought a loaded .45 to my old school yesterday

An eighth grader brought a loaded gun with him to my old school yesterday. The teacher caught him when he started playing with the ammunition in class. They searched his locker and found a 45 in his back pack. Yeah there's a bad group there this year. Earlier in the year one kid brought a bunch of Ecstacy pills to school, one of my good friend's little brother OD'ed and had to have his stomach pumped. It might not have been ecstacy, it just seems like that's what they said on the local news channel. I get to meet all these pricks next year, too.

Strange,loud sound right before sleep comes

Alright, for a few nights out of about the past 2 months, right when I close my eyes and try to go to sleep, I hear a really loud noise. Like a shotgun going off outside my window. It startles me for a few seconds and then I can't go to sleep for at least half an hour. The first few times I dismissed it, but now it's getting really annoying. Any answers?
