deliberate israeli attack on us navy-1967

the U.S.S. liberty was attacked by the israeli airforce and navy for hours by sophisticated weapons for hours....during the attack, the liberty asked for immediate reinforcements from a nearby US carrier and while the carrier was getting ready to launch aircraft to defend the liberty, the whitehouse give in a call and tell em to stand down...WTF

the reasons as to why the israelis would attack the US navy are controversial but one rumor is that it was a "false flag" operation (False flag operations are covert operations conducted by governments, corporations, or other organizations, which are designed to appear as if they are being carried out by other entities. one of the most interesting scenarios is that the ship was deliberately attacked so they can blame the egyptian navy and drag the US into the war

iraq headed towards civil war....

the last week or so has seen some extremely bad blood between sunni and shiite muslims in iraq....with the bombing of a shiite shrine and the 'retaliatory' bombing of sunni mosques, the bad blood between sunni and shiite muslims is getting intense, could this be the rise of a massive war in iraq??? or could this be an opportunity for US and british forces to take on a peacekeeping force????

i always wanted to read a novel about a guy who rose to power and took over a government....and lots of wars and stuff......does anyone know of a novel like that???? you know something like where a guy is a nobody but takes over the country and attacks other countries...i tried to search for a book like this but can never find one....and im sure they exist.
