Did You Know This?...

Wal-Mart asks for, and receives, permission to join homosexual marriage group!

Wal-Mart comes out of the closet!

Wal-Mart, the largest retailer in the world, has asked for and received permission to join the National Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce. The NGLCC is a leading promoter of homosexual marriage.

Although Wal-Mart has never excluded homosexuals from being employees, customers, or suppliers, the company wanted to be more closely identified with promoting the homosexual agenda. Wal-Mart is now a “corporate member” of the NGLCC, putting their approval on the NGLCC’s efforts to abolish the definition of marriage as the union of one man and one woman. A Wal-Mart vice president will serve as an advisor to the NGLCC, helping them promote homosexual marriage.

Wal-Mart agreed to give $25,000 to the NGLCC and to pay for two conferences scheduled by NGLCC. Also, Wal-Mart will give homosexual-owned businesses special treatment when making purchases. Companies not owned by homosexuals will be moved down the list.

NGLCC called Wal-Mart’s action "part of the company's ongoing commitment to advancing diversity (homosexuality) among all of its associate, supplier and customer bases."

Wal-Mart is offering the same kind of support for homosexual marriage which Ford Motor Company has been giving to homosexual groups for years.

Wal-Mart is no longer the traditional Family Value Oriented business they claim to be. It appears they want to be Pro-Gay instead.

This is the only personal experience I've had with a so called "ghost".

Locale = NC, USA

When I was a young teenager I was in the Boy Scouts. We went on a camping trip one summer weekend on private property. The remote location was an old farm lot in the country. A nice good sized pond was positioned near the center of the land. From the damn to the opposite end measured about the length of a football field and deep enough to hide large farm machinery in. We setup camp on the farthest end of the pond and pitched tents, made fires, the usual routine. Some of the scouts decided they wanted fish for supper and spotted an old flat-bottom john boat. They fished awhile, caught a few hand sized brim, but had to get back to shore because the boat sprung a leak [you should have been there, it was hilarious].

Anyway, after eating and telling a few ghost stories around the fire, we all retired to our tents for the evening. Unlike some of the other scouts, I always had a hard time sleeping in the outdoors. Noisy crickets, belching bull frogs, hooting owls, and other Noisy creatures of the night always seemed to get on my nerves. Sometimes I would even yell out, "Would you critters shut-up?! I can't go to sleep with all that racket!"

Finally, all noises stopped! It was very quiet. You could have heard a pin drop on a blunt rock it was so quiet. I'm like, "Aaahhh, I can sleep now." It didn't occur to me that this action was so odd for the outdoors on a summer night until I started hearing a "ting-tink" noise outside the tent. It kind of sounded like something metal tapping on glass. I hollered over toward the next tent, "What are you guys doing over there?"
One scout replied, "Not doing anything. I thought you were tapping on something over there."
"Nope, not me!" I said.
Then I yelped over toward the other side of me, "Was it one of you over there?"
A drowsy sleepy scout spoke with a low tone, "Nooo. I didn't hear anything anyway, Pipe down and go back to sleep man."
I'm thinking... huh?, go back to sleep? I haven't even started yet. He must sleep like a corpse out here...
I shrug it off and lay back down. No more than 15 seconds tick by and there it goes again. "ting-tink, ting-tink" the tapping noise went. I was not satisfied. I had to investigate this. So I unzip the skeeter flap on my tent and poke my head out to have a look. I heard the noise again and it was coming from the short floating pier of the pond. I see a glowing light on the pier and it's getting brighter. I could make out that this object looked like an old oil lantern and the sound must have been from someone getting it to light up. I don't see anybody around the lantern though. I glance over to one of the other tents and noticed that Robert [I think that was his name] had his tent flap open too.
In a dull whisper I say, "Robert, who lit that lantern over there?"
He replies, "Oh, you see it too? I thought you went to sleep." He pokes his head out to look at me.
I whisper back, "Nope. Every time I lay down, I hear a dumb noise. Now it was that lantern over there... And what happened to the crickets and stuff, they're not chirping?"
Robert says, "The critters shut up as soon as the lantern was lit. I've been watching it since then."
"Why didn't you say something earlier?" I asked.
"Thought I was seeing things." Robert replied.
We both gaze back at the lantern again as it got brighter and brighter while it heated up.
"I can't see anybody out there, can you?" I said as I squinted for a harder look.
Robert whispers back, "Nope. And I think the thing lit up on it's own."
Robert must think I'm stupid, so I say, "Come on man. This is part of your ghost story you talked about earlier, ain't it? You ran over there and lit it up, didn't you?"
In a defensive voice Robert says, "I'm serious man. I had nothing to do with it. I sware I think that lantern lit up on it's own. Besides, none of us have a lantern like that anyway."
I look back over to the lantern and add, "Yeah. Guess you have a point there. It looks like it was made back in the 1800's or something." While identifying the top knob post and curly bar designs across the glass of it. I bounced back with an idea, "Where's the scout master? Maybe it's part of his collection."
Robert says, "Man. He's way over there snoring like Grizzly Adams. He ain't got anything to do with this. Besides, all he brought was his new Coleman. If you are so worried about it, go over there and look at it, I dare you."
"You crazy. I ain't going over there. You're the closest, you go!" I snapped back.
Robert kind of clams up while be both continue to gaze out at the lantern. Then suddenly the lantern begins to move. It rises a little above the pier and hangs there for a few seconds. It then proceeds to go out over the water. As it is moving straight forward it sort of bobs up and down as if someone is carrying it.
My eyes are big as saucers and I say, "You see what I'm seeing?"
"Yep, it's on the move." Robert announces.
I'm thinking... somebody is playing a big trick on us. I also think of the boat.
"Robert, where's the boat?" I ask.
Robert replies, "It's over there on shore upside down where I left it. Besides it sprung a leak, remember?"
"Oh yeah. That's right." I say with a dunce expression.
We continue to watch the lantern in amazement as it waddles up and down over the pond. There are no ripples in the water at all. The lantern completes it's journey completely across the pond. It then proceeds further to the edge of the woods. It gets to the wood line and then POOF, just like magic, it begins to vanish in front of our eyes. As it dissipates into white particles and resolves away, both of our jaws drop in astonishment. This was the most incredible thing either of us had ever seen. I looked around the den yard [that's what we scouts called our living quarters filled with tents] to see if anyone else was watching with us. Apparently Robert and I were the only ones witnessing this event.

I don't think either one of us went to sleep at all that night. I remember starring out the tent port all night and waiting for dawn. My eyes never moved away from the last position the lantern had occupied. Both of us thought it might come back, but it never did.

As morning had came and it was light enough for us to see the ground, we both crawled out of our tents. We walked straight over to where the lantern disappeared. At the edge of the woods was a brush pile and something glittery in the brush caught my eye. Robert noticed it too and we both started moving the brush out to see what it was...

Guess what it was? - It was a very old headstone. It was very small and very distorted from age with black splotching. No name, no date, no nothing, just the stone.

As the other scouts were getting up, we proceeded to tell them what we saw last night. Naturally, we were the laughing stock of the Troop and nobody believed us. We showed them the headstone we found, which we thought should have been plenty of proof because we didn't know it was there.
One of the scouts said, "Ha ha. Robert probably knew it was there. Still up to your ghost stories Robert? Ha ha."
Robert looks at me shaking his head and says, "I didn't know anything about that stone. I swear!"
"I believe you man. Besides we both know there weren't any tree rigs and old lanterns just don't de-materialize into thin air like that." I said with belief.

[note: "Tree Rigs" is what we called rope and pulley systems between trees which can be used to transport small objects over small bodies of water. We had rope during that trip, but no pulleys. Besides, we would have seen the evidence by dawn, don't you think?]

Well, that's what happened. There is a related story behind this, which I will post next.

Greetings To All,

This is actually an old subject that goes way back. Many people have argued about the visions of Ezekiel. I'm not exactly sure why his experiences were labeled "visions", but they must have been some strong visions to make him understand God's language and go out to speak a foreign language unknown to him.

I can relate to Ezekiel and his "visions" because I too once had "visions" [I prefer to say Dreams] about some strange flying creatures [I call them UFO's].

The target is simple... KJV Bible version 1, Book Ezekiel, Chapter 1 [all of it]... Read the creature's description and try to understand what the creature is doing. Attempt to draw a free-sketch diagram of the creature based on Ezekiel's description the best you can. Do not even try to think about what your pastor has said the creature is supposed to represent, just go with the flow and use your own instinct while drawing. When finished, take a big step back and look at your drawing, what do you see? Now, go back an read Ezekiel Chapter 1 again, but include Chapter 2 as well. You may be surprised to see a new mental picture about Ezekiel's experience.

I have attached my version of Ezekiels creature. Based on his description, this is the best I could do.

Greetings To All,

Firstly, I would like to thank those who have came forward with their experiences in this forum. It takes alot of guts to "spill the beans." You have given me some encouragement to tell a little about my [not so significant] experience. Mine appears to be small in significance, but it's a huge step for me to say anything about it to anyone.

I used to have strange dreams 15 years ago, I'm 36 now. I don't have these dreams anymore... I would dream about fancy aircraft flying around the world and in outer space. I was never inside one of them. I would always be an observer to these flying machines. I never did know exactly where I was located, frankly at the time I didn't care. I enjoyed watching the crafts fly around and do crazy maneuvers. It's like the pilots of these things were insane stunt pro's [jerk over here, slide fast there, down in a blink, and upward in a blast]. I would be saying, "Hey, these things are cool. I wish I could fly one." But like I said, I never entered any craft in my dreams. I never saw any of the pilots either, just the crafts. The crafts came in different shapes and sizes. Same shaped crafts would group in a formation, diamond formations occurred, but triangular formations were most popular. The crafts themselves would either be saucer-shaped, bow-shaped, tear drop shape, bullet-shaped, and triangle-shaped. Different shaped crafts would never group in a formation together. Some had fancy lights, some didn't have any at all, and some appeared to use light as a form of propulsion. These crafts really didn't do much of anything else, except for just flying around. The last time I dreamt them, they flew away from my sight and the dreams ended. - I think those dreams was just part of an over-active imagination of a "wanna-be" spectators point-of-view. I could be wrong, but I just don't want to read too much into it. Know what I mean?

I've had some "close calls" when it comes to an actual sighting. I see something odd in the sky at night and I say to myself, "Could it really be? Is it one of them?" Then I drive like a maniac jumping over railroad tracks and nearly taking out some stop signs just to get a closer look. I followed this one object coming home from work. At first glance of it I swear it didn't look like anything man made. It's movement seemed a bit too extra sophisticated to be a military aircraft, or that's what I thought at the time. I saw 4 dirty-white colored lights and if you connected the light points you would get the Delta symbol with 3 smaller triangles inside of the Delta. The craft suddenly stopped in mid-air just hanging there. I pulled to the side of the road and rolled down my windows to try to hear it's engine. I couldn't hear much of anything except for a faint whisper of the wind rustling the tree tops under the craft. So, I'm sitting there trying to find some blinking beacons that would indicate it was some type of military aircraft, but I didn't see any, just the steady burning ones in the shape of a Delta. Now, I'm like, "Man, what is this crazy thing?". Finally another bright light was turned on and was shining down into the tree tops and sweeping back-n-forth. The craft began to move again and turned in my direction and it turned in one spot on a dime. It was approaching me and I'm thinking, "Alright! I finally get to see a REAL one up close!" I started to hear some sounds now. The air around me started to feel like thundering air shocks as if tuned to a rapid drum beat, thump thump thump. I heard a high-pitched noise now too as if air was being forced out of a spray can. Now, I'm like, "Ok, I'm ready! Where's a camera when you need one." This thing is about to fly directly over my head.... and it did! But, boy was I disappointed when I could read some letters on the belly of the beast that said - U.S. ARMY BG109-386 - or something to that number. Apparently I had been spying on a military helicopter the whole time. These troops were out on night training runs and headed back to camp. But I must say, the military has some really cool toys flying around in the air. Decked out in landing lights, whisper hover mode, and a candle beam light which turns darkness into day. At least I did see something I never saw before - LOL - So, that's what my tax dollars are building... hmmm...

After that episode, I have learned to control my imagination a little more.

Has this ever happened to you?

Greetings To All,

Although I'm new to this forum, I'm not new to others. You can call me Dark, you can call me Basic, you can call me DarkBasic, you can even call me "Your Basic Program." Do you get the feeling I enjoy Basic programming? I really do like to program in basic code. Basic programming helps me keep my logics in fine tune, not only in an editor, but also in everyday life. It's like activity exercises for the brain. My favorite code editor is DarkBasic 1.13 Enhanced which was originally designed to build 3D games with, but I like using it for other things as well. I'm not a "fancy pants" type person, just your everyday Basic layman with some skills... Skills which help put food on the table for the family.

My favorite DirecTV channels are... Sci-Fi, NASA TV, Discovery Science, TLC, The Military Channel, Nik-At-Nite 1 & 2 [for the old sitcoms], TV Land, The Weather Channel, and the TBS SuperStation.

As far as books go... If it's not in electronic form, then I don't read it.

I also like UFO's & Aliens, Area 51 & conspiracies, Crop Circles & Mysteries, Jason Martell research follow-ups, and I've been known to do some research on Ancient culture and writing systems. I like deciphering Myths into possible truths, speaking of which, I also enjoy retranslating KJV Bible scripture into more modern day terms most of us can relate to much easier [I do it mostly for myself, but you are welcome to test me].

I'm married and I have 2 sons. My primary job is to run computer programs every night on a AS/400 and ensure they all complete successfully, otherwise troubleshooting procedures are carried out. Our data service network presently stretches across 3 states on the U.S. east coast and continues to grow. I guess you could say my life is all about computers and the resources they use.

I actually like seeing introductions like this, because it lets others know they are not alone. If you feel like an anti-social cybertronic geek, then don't feel so bad anymore, you're not the only one. I hate shaking hands and pretending to be part of the crowd outside my front door, it makes me too nervous. I'd much rather be a CPU hermit. My computer can't hurt my feelings and I can't hurt its feelings.

Huh, this is funny. I promised myself this would only be a short paragraph of introduction. Oh well, another broken promise. Nobody's perfect. I guess I just think out-loud too much. LOL

Well, that's enough gibber-jabber out of me.

Have a most spectacular day!
