See people, given enough time... and someone who is actually willing to do the investigating... some of this paranormal stuff can actually be explained.

http://www.cnn.com/2007/US/11/02/chupacabra.ap/index.html

They mention in this article that they are still trying to find out why the coyote lost its hair... I still think it is mange.

At any rate, this just proves that all things are explainable to me.

Well, I think it is time for Samurai to ride off into the sunset....

Thank you to those that provided thoughtful insight and intelligent opinions. I have a better appreciation of the alien/ufo phenomena because of our discussions. I will check back periodically to see how you are doing...and yes we both know who you are.

To those of you that continue to use this forum for your own entertainment by posting unfactual stories and experiences just for kicks, you are ruining it for the rest of us. You are only adding to the idea that the majority of people have about us and the whole ufo phenomena. No wonder most of the population thinks we are all kooks. Instead of putting someone who challenges your ideas/beliefs on your ignore list, why dont you defend your beliefs? Why dont you do what this forum is supposed to do... promote provocative discussions in order for all of us to gain a better understanding. I think you do not stand up for your comments because you know they are bullhockey, and do not want to be called out. Grow up or move on.... and yes we both know who you are.

Lastly, I would like to end by saying there is definitely something strange going on in our skies.... there are also many unexplainable phenomena taking place in our world. I would encourage all of you to seriously look at all logical explaintions before jumping to the conclusion that aliens are involved. I wish we had proof of these aliens, but the simple fact is, we do not. So...why not look at other possibilities that are more "down to earth" and rule these out first. Us humans are so finite, we think we know so much, yet in the grand scheme of things, we are arrogant, self-centered beings, who have only scratched the surface of the unknown world (both physical and spiritual) around us....

Good luck, and Sayonara.

Maybe this thing explains some of the ufo's that have been seen?- especially if it were painted black, flying low to the ground and slow. Just a thought. Comments?

This was on 60 minutes last night and it made me really think.

http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2006/11/22/...in2205629.shtml

I wanted to get other's opinion. Please read the article, but in a nutshell, it is about the drug Propranolol. It blocks adrenaline to the brain, surpressing thoughts. On the program, a woman was interviewed that had been raped at 12 years of age, and basically, her life had been devastated. It consumed her even though she was in her 40s. She was given this drug, and now by her own admission, she has forgotten everything about the incident. "The drug gave her back her life", she says. They have also talked about giving this to our military soldiers that have been in war, to help forget the audacitiies that they faced.

The drug is still in experimental stages.

My question is this, if you could take a pill to forget certain aspects of your life, would it be ethical? I mean your life experiences, good and bad, make up who you are. You deal with what life gives you. Now, there are certain things that happen to people, like this woman, that are unthinkable. But, it makes up who she is... Her experiences are hers alone, and along with her personality, feelings, emotions, this is her life story. It makes up her countenance. So, is it ok to "erase" some of those memories for a better outcome?

I would venture to say no. What good is life, if it is not experienced to the fullest - even when tragedy and horror strikes. Thoughts?
