2012 - according to Whitley Strieber

I'm not sure if this particular book has been discussed yet and I didn't want to spend an hour sifting through all the posts to find out so I figured I would post this.
Whitley Strieber has a new book out called "2012 - The War of Souls".
In it he basically describes what will really happen in 2012 - a race of Draconians invading the earth and...for lack of a better term...destroying our souls. He says that the Dracos have the technology to separate the soul from the body and destroy it if they wish so that we have no chance for life after death.
Has anyone read this book? I'm just going by what I've heard from a friend who read it.
Is it even possible to "destroy" a soul seeing as how the soul is not physical?

Thoughts please. There are so many theories about what's going to happen on that day, it's just crazy. We can all hope that nothing happens at all.

Something happening next year?

I was talking to a buddy of mine last week. I'm a singer and he owns a recording studio in Melbourne, Florida, about a half hour from here.
Anyway, I didn't realize what a UFO buff he was. So it was nice to have someone to talk to about this kind of stuff.
Apparently, he has some military guys recording in there from time to time.
From what I understand, Regan spilled the beans sometime back in the 80's about something happening in 2008. I think he said that in 2008 there was going to be public recognition of alien life.
Has anyone else heard anything about this?
Apparently, some of these military guys told my friend that Melbourne, Florida is home to one of two top-secret bases in the world. Not sure exactly what kind. But something to do with the Greys. No one knows exactly where it is. I was told that another government complex is a front for it. We have a bunch of government complexes in Melbourne, right off of Nasa boulevard. Northrup Grumman, Harris etc.

Strange experience last night...

I went outside at about early this morning - before I walked out the door, I glanced at the clock - 1:17AM.
When I got out there...and I don't know why exactly...I walked to the end of the driveway. When I got there...suddenly I began to feel very dizzy and disoriented - then I started freaking out and my heart started pounding. It looked like everything was spinning. I don't know why that dizziness came out of nowhere. It could have been the change in pressure from inside to outside.
Anyway...I went back inside 5 minutes later. When I got in there...I was really freaking out having an anxiety attack that came out of nowhere. I felt very startled and...this may sound weird....I felt offended for some reason. I just felt really pissed off - at who..I don't know!
Anyway, I walked into the kitchen trying to calm myself down - while I was there, I looked at the clock on the stove - 2:30AM.
I then...started to hyperventilate. I ran into the bedroom and woke my wife up telling her I was having a really bad anxiety attack.
When I layed down to try to sleep..I couldn't because there was a noise in my head or in my ears. The only way I could describe it was as a "WOMP WOMP WOMP", almost like the noise a fan makes or the noise you hear when you have pressure in your head due to sinus, or a cold etc. The thing with this sound was that it was changing rythms. It would go really slow...and then it would speed up.
Anyway...that was my night.
Today, I just have a headache and I took something for it about an hour ago so it's easing up.
