In July of 1952 large fleets of UFOs flew slowly in formation directly over the White House and the U.S. Capitol...not once but TWICE within a seven day period. They were picked up on Washington National Airport radar and reported by thousands of local witnesses. Fighter jets were eventually dispatched from Andrews AFB and as the F-94s approached, the UFOs went vertical at a radar estimated 7200 MPH or just disappeared at other times. After the jets landed back at Andrews, the UFOs would immediately return. This cat and mouse game was repeated several times until the wee hours of the morning, according to reports. The story made HEADLINE NEWS in The NY Times and Washington Post (and many other US newspapers), complete with a large photograph and caption commemorating the event.
Life has always had its share of mysteries, but when it comes to the topic of UFO/ET a different set of rules seem to apply. All other evidence aside, if bigfoot crossed the White House lawn several times in large packs while taunting authorities in front of god and everybody... with pictures and headlines on the front page, wouldn't that be enough proof for even the harshest of judges? When I started researching on the internet in 1995, UFO skeptics were the majority, already paTROLLING every major newsgroup and forum relating to the subject. Their arsenal of personal attacks and ridicule was not appropriate then, and I have long since determined most of them to be sowrn enemies of the truth. Look at how far we've come. Virtually every culture since the earliest known HISTORY OF MANKIND has recorded accounts of alien visitation. Our ancestors obviously had a profound respect and appreciation for these visitors, and went to great lengths to get the message to future generations. They depicted UFOs in their artwork, etched drawings on the ground and into granite walls and published their accounts in biblical texts. They constructed beacons of information; some of the most massive structures on the planet, specifically meant to focus our attention to the skies. On many of these sites the advanced techniques of engineering and astronomy involved serve as testimony to their commitment. Something tells me that our ancient relatives were looking out for our best interest much moreso than these modern day cowboys/skeptics/ debunkers. To cast doubt on the concensus of previous intelligent civilizations is the rhetoric of arrogant and meddling privateers. The constant traffic in and out of our atmosphere resembles an interstellar highway, with travelers visiting Earth from perhaps 60 other worlds, and/or covert mining operations within our solar system. The worldwide information highway, while revered for its immense problem solving potential, could possibly plunge us back into the dark ages with the proper coaching. The WMD of choice is disinformation. D.C. story: http://www.subversiveelement.com/UFOWashingtonDC.html This is worth a look: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ec53Yhifyyg For ET to show such air superiority right over the White House sent a clear message without any violence. I can't imagine a better example of peaceful aggression. The ET's have seldom interfered with our military, and diplomacy seems to be their utmost priority. I wish I could say the same about the United States. I would also like to add that while I know of nobody personally that ET has ever harmed, I do know of a few they have help personally - me being one.

December 31, 1986 shortly after dusk, a friend and I were traveling south on highway 52 near Mt. Airy, NC. I was the passenger and we were casually talking and listening to the radio. That area is bad for reception anyway, so when the FM station went silent I was not surprised. But as I turned the dial, not even the sound of static was coming in. As I was trying to remedy the music situation, I noticed what looked like construction going on at the treeline on the left hand side of the highway up ahead, because I saw bright lights. This struck me as odd considering that it was New Years Eve, and the only job to do in that area would probably be on a billboard.
As we approached, I saw three lights in a triangular formation rising up through the trees. There was a very intense bright light in the middle of the three lights shining down like a spotlight on the ground below. At that point, I directed my friend's attention to the lights and verbaliized my confusion. "What the hell is that?" He hunched over the steering wheel and we were both watching as the lights rose up above the treetops. We slowed down. Now we were perpendicular to this object and could see a definate triangular shape against the sky, and the bright light in the center went out. We were looking almost straight up at the object through the windshield. After the middle light went out, the object started slowly rotating counter clockwise almost a complete rotation. Then it cocked up at about a 30 degree angle, with the lights almost facing us directly. Then, without a sound, it "blinked" out of the atmosphere. From our vantage point, the object zig-zagged many times in a split second as it went out of sight. We saw the trail of light it left behind, and it appeared to be connecting imaginary dots, as if propelled by some kind of magnetic force. This area of the highway is always crowded, especially on New Years Eve. But after the sighting, we realized that there were no other cars visible in either direction. As we travelled south a mile or so, traffic finally started appearing in the northbound lanes, and the radio started working again. But I did not see any traffic behind us at all. Our exit was about 20 miles down the road, and I did not see any headlights even after we exited the highway and crossed back over 52 on the bridge. We were in total awe of what we had seen. My friend and I were both 19 years old at the time, and niether of us wore a watch. When we met up with our girlfriends, we were in for a rude awakening. The thirty minute drive that we had made many times before had taken us three and a half hours, and we didn't make any stops. Our UFO story was not well received, to say the least. This was truly a life changing experience. My buddy and I still talk about it often, and our friendship has endured through the years partly because of what happened that night.

Hello all. I look forward to being debunked. I've been lurking for a while and decided to take the plunge. I've been fortunate enough to have had a few unusual experiences in my life. My immediate plans include posting my most compelling encounter. Seeing is believing and I certainly have seen my share.
