Have you ever wondered why most of us find animals cute? Why we find furry creatures cute? I have. Mostly we think baby mammals are the cutest, and I've thought that since we're in the same group of animal, the traits that make our infants cute are what make mammals cute. And we find our own infants cute because nature made us, so that we'll care more about them. The study of animal behaviour makes the point clear that there are triggers that all infants set off to make their parent(s) nurture and raise them.

But then, I also think this thing is kinda cute.

Is it the fuzz? Is it huge eyes and small noses? Is it the size? Any thoughts?

Added: Maybe this should be in the General Discussion forum.

So I'm all done with the army now and have enjoyed a lovely summer! On Wednesday I start with my university studies (biology for those who care to know), and I will probably have some time to come here again on a more regular basis.

Well, I finally got off my arse and signed up somewhere where I could make a web site for free (cheap old Dros, eh?). I did it because I wanted somewhere to put my comic. No you don't need glasses, you read right. I've started on a comic that I hope I will keep at for a long time, and one that I hope people will enjoy reading. Any feedback is most welcome smile.gif

Well, as some of you have known for a while, I've enlisted in the army, and will be spending the next year serving my country. I'll be gone the 20th. of July and will be away for months at a time. So this means cya for now, and I'll miss a whole bunch of people in here! It's been a pleasure being a member of this forum, and I'm pretty sure I'll be back after I've served my 12 months.
So you guys take care of yourselves, and I'll try to be more careful than this bloke here.

Goodbye smile.gif

A group of American paleontologists have after a lucky series of events, discovered the first ever remains of soft tissue from a preserved dinosaur! This may give us much information about how dinosaurs lived, and even though there's not confirmed any whole/long DNA sequences found in it yet, it might even take us one step closer to an actual 'Jurassic Park'! The species in question is -poetically enough- one of the all time favourites: Tyrannosaurus Rex biggrin.gif
