My Take on Modern Society and it’s Collapse



I think that we are headed towards a inevitable disaster, or at the very least a major change in who we are and how we live. Why I think this, I am not sure. It seems to always been apart of me. I do not think I am alone in these thoughts or feels either. I think that most have a sixth sense about what is to come, but just refuse to look at these feels in a more in-depth way. Maybe they just won’t or can’t make the time to slow down, examine their feelings, and look at things in a wider prospective. To me it seems like the world is on auto-pilot and someone keeps advancing the throttle. Time has accelerated at a astounding pace. I think this is in part do to the technology we have today, but I feel that there is also a human component involved as well. As our lives move faster and faster. Our conciseness has a effect on how we perceive time. After all, what is time, but the perception of movement? Even things that are seemingly at rest are in motion at the atomic level, and no doubt beyond. That is my basic understanding of time. I will leave the mechanics of it up to theoretical physicists.
So if we think time is speeding up, it will. When we as a collective society speed up time, I can’t help but think there will be effects on the physical world as well as our perceived lives.
I am not saying that we are bring these changes upon ourselves, but I am saying we are bring them to us at a faster rate then we need to. If we would slow down and really take a good look at our world, then I am sure we would be able to lessen the hardships of the coming changes.
It is my belief that if we are all concentrating on fears and dangers all around us, then that is what we will get. After all, haven’t we as a species always faced dangers? I think that these past dangers were more of a threat then today’s dangers. All you have to do is look at the life expectancies of people today!
There are those that want to encourage this fear too, for it allows them to gain more power and control. When you get more power and control in the hands of few people this is when the old saying of, “absolute power, corrupts absolutely” comes into play. This is a sure sign of a coming collapse.
I am not just talking about politicians and governments. I am talking about the people behind them “Big Money” the people who think life is one big game, and who ever has the most at the end of the game wins. Selfish people, who allow their ego to rule over their every action, instead of doing what Lincoln called “ listening to the better angels of our nature”. Unfortunately, most of the time the exact opposite people seek out positions of power. People who feed their own ego and think they are superior to the majority of people and that they know the best direction to take, and if you disagree, you are a threat and enemy to be crushed. Well, as it has been said, we get the government we deserve.
You might ask, well what is a alterative? I will only mention one. A lottery system. Where people are picked at random for a “tour of duty”. Of course there would be competency test and exclusion rules for people with questionable back grounds and also age limits. I would suggest at least 35 years of age. If someone was to show to be exceptionally good at governance, and if they wanted to stay in the job. We would have a vote of confidence or no confidence to decide if they stayed or would go. I know more things would have to be worked out, like a system of bureaucrats that would be there in order to make the transition more smooth, but these people would also be subject to replacement by the “selected”. I won’t go into it any farther detail then that. It’s just a thought.
The rise and fall of governments is not the only changes we should expect. Those type of changes we know of and have seen many examples of in the past, although it does seem we cannot learn from them!
There also seem to be great cyclical changes to our galaxy and most likely even to the Universe. These changes are far more vast and disturbing. There are disagreements on the exact time scales, but we know they happen. It seems that past civilization knew of them too. In fact their knowledge is in part how we know of the Great Cycle of Change. We are only now starting to understand these changes. There are many theories as to the causes of the changes. One of which is being aligned to the Galactic center. It is thought that this alignment in conjunction with the Winter solstice will somehow cause the Earth to experience a pole shift. If this were to happen, even slowly, the world as we know it would not exist any longer. The evidence seems to points to it happening quickly though, which would mean even more destruction and death. This takes place every 26,000 year, roughly, I have heard slightly different numbers.
According to Mayan calendar thought it is going to occur December 21, 2012. This is the exact date which it occurs. Whether or not some will happen is anyone’s guess. The Mayan calendar is very advanced when it comes to astrological events. Why they were so meticulous is not known, but they put great time and care into it for some reason. It was not design just to know when to plant the crops! I have heard it say many times this is the end of time! It is not, the calendar just starts over at the beginning. Counting down the Great Galactic Cycle once more.
Another theory is the Super Wave event that happens repeatedly over time. This is the ideal that the center of our galaxy emits great amounts of energy. The product of these “explosions” being a great cosmic wave of energy, like Gamma Rays and X-ray, and things that quite frankly, I am not qualified to talk about. One thing I do know, is that there was a gamma ray burst detected 3 days after the 2004 Earthquake in the India Ocean “the one that caused the devastating tsunami”. It is my understanding that this would be the order in which the events would play out, first you would get a gravity way, and then you would get the gamma ray. This energy came from a star going Supernova. The energy release from the center of the galaxy has the potential of being far strong!
The fact is these great releases of energy can effect own solar system immensely according to the size and duration of the event. I am not sure if anyone knows the frequency of these events or not, but they do happen, and according to some we are over due. I really doubt that the galactic alignment has any effect on a Super wave event from the center of the galaxy, it just something else to ponder, other then corrupt governments and Politicians.
I do not mention these things to instill more fear. After all, the Galactic alignment may have no effect at all and the Superwave is on a unknown time scale. I talk about these things to try and get people to think on a larger scale, not only about our place in the Universe but, our place in time as well. If we as a race would wake from this selfish narrow point of view, I am sure we would be better off.
If I could have one decree for all of the world. It would be for every human each day to be up to meet their rising sun. If everyone would take 5 minutes a day to stand facing their sun and contemplate the world around them, to think of loved ones, and to just wish good will for the world! I can’t help but think there would be a wave our own going around the world everyday. A Great Wave of well being for all.

Auto-censorship and Resistance to New Ideals

UFO's, Aliens, and abduction as well as anything considered outside of the mainstream is hard to talk about with most people, because of the mind set of our society. All you have to do is mention one of the subjects and you usually get some kind of off the cuff humorous remark and no one likes to be thought of as a fool. There is embarrassment and the worry of what others will think of you as a person. You have to be confident in who you are to continue to talk about this subject. If you do continue to talk about it you get the “strange look” like you just grew a second head on your shoulders! So in a way there is a kind of auto-censorship of these subjects.

This is not the only place this type of social censorship takes place either. It is alive and well in the scientific community. For instance in the archaeological community. In our past there a anomalies of many kinds when it comes to ancient construction methods and writings. It is obvious to me that there can be more then one hypothesis to some of these mysteries. Are all stories of the Gods just myths? Could there be some truth buried in them? There are amazing similarities to these “Myths”! All around the world they seemed to have shared similar construction techniques and astronomical interests. Was there some common influence? Anytime someone dares to look at a piece of evidence in a different way, they are instantly brought down by the community. Even if they use the same scientific methods of their colleges, if it is to far out of the conventional wisdom they will be at risk!

Even in Physics, (a science I wish I knew more about) it is a science that is suppose to be open to new theories, you run into this automatic censorship when it comes to zero point energy and tapping into dark matter. I certainly don’t understand it all, but there are some interest new theories out there.

Unfortunately this resistance to change is well documented in our past. The Earth is Flat isn’t it! The sun goes around the Earth doesn’t it! These ideals are laughed at now. What ideals will we be laughing at in the future?

We are so slow to except change that it is a wonder we have the wheel! I have been guilty of this way of thinking myself. I have been so sure that I was right, that I had to find out for myself I was wrong. Why are we so against admitting we were wrong? I think it would be better if we would all try and humble ourselves a little more and except that we do not know all.

Second "Remembered Sighting"

OK, this strange happening involves two other people too. My brother and my best friend. As I said earlier I was around 21 + or - a year or two.
One day me and my friend were out just cruising and talking and for some reason thought I would mention this dream I had about spaceships. That's all I said at first, was that I had a crazy dream about them. The second I told him that he look at me a little funny and said, I did too. Now I was interested! I did not want to give any more away. I just wanted see what he had to say about his dream.
Here's how it went. The three of us were out frog gigging one night (for those who don't know what that is you go out at night to a pond one guy shines the light in the frogs eyes and the other gigs the frog) It's something we did a lot back in those days. So we were out getting some tasty frogs:) and there appeared these flashing lights in the distance. They were going back and forth from side to side at first. Then all the sudden they would shoot over top of us at amazing speed and then shoot back. Well we had no ideal what was going on all we could do is run down behind the levee of the pond and lay down there. After we got behind the levee they were still coming over top of us and then shooting out again. Then I said, that I was going to see what they wanted! I got up started over the hill and I remember my brother screaming at me telling NO! He grabbed my ankle and I fell. Sad to say that's it, that's all I or they can remember.
So, that is the story my friend had. Just exactly the same as my dream!
We were both a little freaked about it. We talked about for a little while, then decided we had to ask my brother about it, no matter how weird it sounded. We drove to my house and he was in the garage work on his car. We talked a little. I was hesitant to say anything as you might imagine. Then I just said it, Did you have a dream about spaceships the other night? He immediately came out from under the car and looked at us in a dumb founded and surprised way. You could tell that it really caught him off guard. We told him that we both had a dream about them too. I asked him to describe his dream before we said anymore and it was exactly the same as ours!
To this day I don't know what it was. Did it really happen or was it some kind of strange mental link we experienced. Considering the other things I have experienced in my life I am inclined to believe the latter.
I can recall several other instances of missing time, but in those cases I was alone. There are a few other things I would like to talk about, but just not now. It would be nice to have someone to talk about these thing. My brother and my friend prefer to just forget about it. Well there is not much more that can be said, considering the amount that can be remembered. There is hypnosis, but I am not sure about that.

First Sighting

I have no Earth shattering event and have reached no conclusion.
I will start in my early years. I remember often being afraid at night and would have recurring dreams of someone around me at night or of a bright light outside my window. I often remember having a feeling of being outside my body.
I don't know if this has anything to do with it or not, but I had and still have dreams of world catastrophes, violent weather, and huge explosions. In general I guess you would just say Earth changes.
Enough of that. On to something more unexplainable. When I was 10 or 12 years old I and two of my friends where coming from my house. We where going to see if they could stay all night with me. It was in the Fall around 7:00pm, so it was dark by then. When I seen these lights in the sky above us. I can not say what the distance of the object was from us, but it seemed fairly close as I remember. There were simple white lights 3 on top of 5 on bottom. The three of us stopped and started to talk about what it was. One of said that maybe it was a helicopter, because it was just standing still. We ruled that out because it seemed so close yet made no noise. We watched for what seemed like only a few minutes, then it started moving up and away from us. At first it moved slow and then it picked up incredible speed and disappeared it the night sky. When we got to my friends house we were in trouble because it was quit late, at least for grade schoolers. As I remember it was around 10:00pm and I know it does not take two or three hours to walk to the other side of my town, a town of 250 people!
Needless to say after that my friends never got to stay all night:)
One of my friends still remembers it and one does not, but it has been close to 30 years ago.
The second strange event in my life happened when I was around 21 or so. It's hard to recall exact dates after so long a time, even strange ones likes this!
