I don't know what to make of this, your comments would be appreciated.

This has just happened here in Australia, it was widely reported on all the news media. I also listened to an interview with one of the rescue crew who was one of the first people dropped on board by helicopter when the boat was located, and he says that all of the life vests and the tender were still on board and not used.
This sounds pretty weird, I wonder if they'll find the crew. I also wasn't sure whether to post it under this topic or not. Anyway, here's a link to one of the news articles: http://news.ninemsn.com.au/article.aspx?id=262322

I have read many accounts of supposed alien abduction and one of the things that I find interesting is that they (the aliens) seem to target generations of the same family ie grandfather remembers little men visiting him in his youth, father (his son) remembers little men visiting him in his youth, son remembers being visited by little men. (I'm not being sexist, it works the same way with women, it's just an example.)
I was thinking the other day that the reason for this could be that the aliens are making subtle changes to the abductee's DNA which are then passed on genetically. Hence when the abductee has a child, they (the child) are then abducted to see if the changes have taken effect and then further subtle changes are made to their DNA, and so on and so on in a kind of dominoe effect. What the outcome of this 'ongoing hybridization' could be is anyone's guess, but this theory sounds plausible to me. Let me know if something similar has been posted before, otherwise your thoughts would be appreciated.

I have had a few experiences in my life, statring when I was about 4 or 5 when I can remember being woken by a big black head that was growling at me. I couldn't make out any features and I remember that it disappeared down the side of my bed furthest from the wall. Not to mention that it scared the crap out of me.
Ever since I can remember I have always had an extreme fear of being outside at night and of being abducted or taken by flying saucers. Many times I've dreamt of flying. I have also seen strange lights in the sky and caught fleeting glimpses of humanoid shapes at windows in my house on many occasions. My sister has told me that when we were younger she'd come home from a night out and whilst falling asleep would hear a strange oscillating humming sound coming from outside her window and then she'd hear me screaming. I of course couldn't remember any of this. Recently I asked her to immitate the sound she used to hear at night and when she did it gave me goose bumps. I can vaguely remember hearing this sound and it scares me whenever I repeat it. Now fast forward maybe 10 years and I'm now married and have a 2 year old son. I sometimes hear him yelling 'no' in the night and on one occasion while on my way to calm him down in his room I almost ran into a person in the doorway of his room. As it was dark I thought that it was my wife also coming to calm him, but as I dodged out of the way I noticed that the person was about 5feet 5inches tall and dressed in a suit much like an overall. I turned to have another look at them and they were gone. I managed to calm my boy in a very short period and he fell into a deep sleep. I then went back to bed, to find my wife also deeply asleep. About 2 months ago my wife woke to go to the bathroom at about 2am and saw a light through the opaque bathroom window. She went to the lounge room window to see what it was but couldn't make out anything. She then came to bed. The next morning she told me of this and when I asked her if there was any sound she described the exact same sound as my sister (see above) and she has never spoken to my sister about my experiences as a teen. My wife tried to wake me a few weeks later when she heard the same sound again at about 2am, but was only able to do so once the sound had significantly faded. Suffice to say I was unable to hear it by the time I had woken. A week ago I went to bed at about midnight and as I was lying there I noticed that I couldn't hear any 'night time' sounds such as cars etc, nor could I hear my wife or my newborn's breathing (the baby's in our room at the moment). I have a dog that also shares our room, and also came to bed when I did, and I couldn't hear him stirring or breathing either. I placed my hand on my wife's back and tried to wake her to no avail. A short time later I could hear a faint high pitched whirring sound and I think I fell asleep shortly after. Our newborn usually wakes up about 1:30am - 2:00am for a feed and this night didn't stir until 3:30am. My wife also tells me that she heard our son talking in his sleep and saying 'no' when she woke up. Two days later I was woken at about 2am by my son once again crying in the night. I got up to see to him when I noticed a light shining through my lounge room window. I looked outside to see what it was and I thought it was a car reversing out of the driveway next door. For some reason I didn't pay too much attention to it. I soothed my son and went back to bed. The next evening I did a little experiment. I reversed my car from this driveway and asked my wife if the light from my headlamps shone into the loungeroom. You guessed it, no. I then tried this from my driveway and was able to shine the light in, however on the evening in question my car was parked in my driveway, and therefore blocking the angle required to shine into my lounge room. Sorry about the long post but I'd love to hear your thoughts on the above. I'd also like to know would there be a way of placing a camera or something in my childs room to capture what, if anything is happening to him. |
