I found a link to this at another site. Paper dolls for the 21th century. Even some guys enjoyed it. (You can make boy dolls with their pets and toys.)
Feel free to link your creations on this thread. Here's one of mine. |

Above the picture are two tabs. One says "boy" and one "girl". Click on the "boy" one. On the long row of characteristics, clothes, backgrounds, and effects to the right, to get a less feminine style face click on the tab for head shapes -they have a few bearded ones- and choose eyes that aren't all lashy, and mouths that aren't pink, little rosebuds.
You can even get something reasonably boyish in the animated faces (the tab with full face features). Ignore the hair styles on them, you can change those.
Hope this helps!
ETA: Here's a guy you might be able to work from. When you click the image, if it doesn't come up as a guy on the work page, again just click on the "boy" tab above the image. |

This is fun and badly addictive but I find that backgrounds too fancy and there's no plain type ones.
This one Dingo . |

Yeah, some of those backgrounds and effects have my eyes crossing. :glasses:
Hey. Maybe I'll try for the most effects I can pack into one design. Watch this space! |

I fear I shall never see my teenage daughter again. I gave her the link and she's been in her room making dolls ever since.
Ben, I made you one. They didn't have an acceptable looking man-bag so you're holding a guitar instead. I had to work on your eyebrows in Photoshop - there weren't any big and dark enough!

Oh, very good, Lucy! He da man!
Basaiku, you've got it over me. Mine buzzes but it doesn't have that je ne sais quoi rank ugliness that you achieved. Dingo- very tasteful. Hard to achieve at that site. ETA: Here's one I made to look vaguely like myself if I looked like an animated doll who had dropped a number of dress sizes.

Here are some of my silly creations: Winter Autumn Summer and Spring
I also tried to do a version of me >.< I realized I'm too much of a pink-o-maniac
Then I HAD to do the Powerpuff Girls

Basaiku: Whoa! Cute wife! And a Powerpuff Girl, yet. Hope she doesn't kick your butt.
Dingo: Not through Xmas. While I'll be getting sensible gifts, I'll be creating dolls for my lost childhood.
