God, today i had to do an 8 minute talk in front of the group. I did a presentation about UFO's and Aliens. I was really nervouse though so it went crappy, my voice started shaking and i didnt know what to say, so i just read what i had put on the slideshow. Obviously failed because i werent supose to do that

But anyways i wont have to do it again, because next year i have to do a 15minute talk in art history, and i can use that presentation for the one i just failed in.

Has anyone ever done that before? Get up in front of many people and feel nervous? Im glad i got up there though and its over, untill next year lol.

You better believe it Weird. I had to do a 15 min presintaion on the Battle of Middle Creek during my American Civil War course when I was Junior. Usually, I'm pretty calm about presentaions, but that day, I already had an upset stomach, and was really off. I was sweating, stuttering, and I know I really rushed through a few points. I did really bad, but made up for it during finals.

I have done the same thing. Thought I was as ready as could be and choked... At least you did a presentation on UFO's though! That's pretty cool. Most people wouldn't do that. I haven't. But, I have turned in plenty of papers. lol, they probably think I am nuts.

I wouldn't worry about it. You'll do better next year!

Hey Weird Girl... how did the group react to the subject matter?

That is what I'm going to do for my final presentation in my Myth class. Its not due until May. So I too would like to know what people thought about the subject matter.

Hmmm i dunno, i was to interested in what i was doing to notice. The pictures i shew i think they liked, no questions where asked afterwards though.

Nah i dont think i have it bad, i was gutted i didnt pass and get it totally out the way, but i can do one next year that will cover both my keyskills and art history one. Lifes just shit sometimes isnt it. In my case more often :laugh:
