OK, as the title states. What the heck kind of caterpillar is this?!? Weirdest I've ever seen, by far.

I can't watch the video (don't feel like setting up the plug-in), but would it happen to be a Doratifera vulnerans?

Seth, I pulled a pic of the Moth larvae you mentioned.

Kind of, but I'd have to say no.

Does any one want to post a screen capture of the video?

No, but that's a cool one. This one looks like it's wearing a fur coat and a fur helmet.

If you mean me, I just found the video this morning on filecabi.com. It seems to have been filmed in the U.S. by the voices you hear toward the end.

I wish we knew where it would narrow down the search.

I was thinking the same thing. I was like "I'd like to pet that lil guy..."

But just as I thought that I heard the woman's voice in the video say, "Don't touch it!"

It's adorable. Looks like a child's fluffy, cute animal bedroom slipper.

I am glad somebody else sees the cuteness, FenStar. It is kind of ominous, though, the way the woman's voice on the video says sternly, "Don't touch it!"
