I'll just add that one should take .com sites and .org sites somewhat with a grain of salt. Especially research material and documents.

I read about this in FATE magazine some years ago. That is a respected magazine in Fortean phenomena.
They covered the subject well.
The material is worth reading, and if the finds are indeed genuine, then there is more to consider about our past.

Magazines can print pretty much any article they want. That FATE had this theory covered doesn't mean it's true. I'm just sayin'.

Just because something is buried in sediments that are old, doesn't mean that the objects necessarily are as old. There are land slides, for example. Also consider the implications of ancient nano technology found on earth. If early man was capable of developing nano technology, why are those tiny objects the only remaining artefacts from such an enlightened era? What about buildings? Roads? Non-degradable materials? No traces what so ever.

Did you read the report? Did you see the picture?
They were retrieved from a sediment later dating to around 100,000BC.
As far as the other questions you have, I have the same.
Remnants of an ancient vaporized ship? Who knows?

Yes the russian beads, they thought it was russian secret industrial run off, but couldnt find any evidence oif that- then there is the sedimentary dating...

the only flaw is if there was a secret plant and it was demolished and buried by stalin...

but if that's true why?

I do think it is ancient, and will find its way into the vaults of the smithsonian where it will be forgotten like all the oither anomalies they cant explain...

Remember the sparkplug like object found in the desert out west?
I may be wrong, but I believe they said, that was several tens of thousands years old.
It was encased in stone and was only found by accident using an x-ray.
You hear nothing more of that either.

Land slides can disturb the actual age of sediment layers and objects found therein. We don't know anything about the people who dug up these things, or what competance they had.

Alright, so we have some bits of nano tech and we have a potential spark plug (I can't confirm nor deny that). Well I can't blame you for finding them interesting, I do too! very much so, I want to know what they are. But I'm not so sure we should be burning history books just yet.

I very much agree on the history books part.
I just would like to see a more cooperative effort on the part of scientists to gather up all these strange finds and work together to find answers and perhaps more unfound artifacts.
I think everyone will agree, that there is a lot of buried history, waiting to be discovered. Who knows what they will reveal.

At least it looks EXACTLY like a sparkplug and no, it was not proven to be 'several tens of thousands years old'. That is just the opinion of the guy that found it (and probably watches to much X-files).

I originally had the understanding that it was larger that pictured.
Call that case closed.
It was a geologist who first thought it to be 500.000 years old, not the finder.

What it good in this, is somebody took a closer look at this object. It is unfortunate it was not what it seemed.

There are plenty of other so called 'evidence' stones, there is the stone with metal pins sticking out, the stone shaped like a pyramid, the stone with writing on it etc.

All trying to prove that there was high tech cultures in the past, and all as fake as a muppet.

Even if there were high tech cultures, time and earth changes has destroyed any evidence.
Even today, look how an item deteriates over short time.
I still believe there was some. There is too much indicating evidence for it to ignore.
There is a book dedicated to the reports of anomalis objects.
The reports are many, from strange objects in coal to small coins pulled up from well, and many others.
It makes for good reading.
