Strange how something that seems to be so out of our dimension is so fysicaly present. If it really is a stargate, why should it be there for us to see it in the first place, in a rock, so hard and cold?

I hate these things that create so many questions and give few answers.

I doubt that the stories were nothing more than just made up.

I do think of that Star Trek episode where they installed a lab into the side of a cliff that overhanged a primitive village. They consealed it using their holodeck generators to recreate the missing rock.

I see no real reason why this could not be true, just because we don't understand it does not mean it didn't/does not exist

All these strange occurances etc are most probably sealed until a race smart enough come along
You put padlocks and keypads on doors so that only humans can operate things, because monkeys can't operate keypads or use padlocks.

I wonder what an x-ray of the rock would reveal...if anything.

I like the Sci-Fi stuff but stargate ideas seem too far fetched for me. I am not saying that are impossible, I am saying that you won't find any.

Hate to be the party pooper, so keep looking and let me know find. I will be looking for other things.

IF I ever get the chance to study it I'll do whatever they do on Stargate to see if it works like that, it would be awesome if we were a genetic experiment or once slaves of an advanced race that we defeated and forced of Earth, just like Ewoks did to the Imperials.
