Two days ago my sister died of breast cancer. The funeral is tommorow, so today I purchased a new digital camera to take some shots. Whilst testing it out , I got this -

See the dark figure? I have no clue as to what it could be. There was nothing on the lense, nothing infront of the camera. It only showed up when I took a look at. I am freaked.

I am sorry to hear about your sister. After analyzing your pic, it appears to be a black paper cut-out placed inside a metal-ringed basket. I was using a simple photo program, called picasa 2. It looks like there is some string or tape at the top, you can only see it when u fill light in on the pic. Then again I might be in-correct. Do you have any information on the metal rings?

What kind of camera, how much was it, what time of day did you take the photo? What Resoloution what it shot in? Was this the only photo you took at that time?

And take a picture of the camera's box and receipt and upload it as you should still have these on hand, since the camera is new. Remember the burdon of proof is on you. Why should anyone believe this with so many hoaxes out there?

Oh hey guess what? The reaper paid me a visit the other day and he said all he was looking for was to borrow the pink dust pan in your island. Guess he had to tidy up some. He said he wasn't going to keep it just use it for awhile.

Why were you taking a picture of the kitchen again? Looks like a black bag sitting in one of those wire fruit bowls or something.

Sorry to hear about your loss

You made it up just to give your hoax more credibility, shame on you. I know for a fact that I would not be posting ghost photos on paranormal websites 2 days after my sister died horribly.

I would do the same as Kryptonking, but I don't have a sister, just a brother, who hates me, so I would post a ghost picture, senhaun. I mean, just because you [senhaun] wouldn't do that, doesn't mean anyone else wouldn't, now if we find that he was lying, you can say that all the much you want without me trying to oppose, but what if by chance he's not, how would oyu like it if people claim your just lying about someone close to you died to make a claim of yours happy? You can think that, but it's not the nicest thing to say if he isn't lying about his sister.

And he obviously took the photo also, so it could be whatever you want it to be. It's most likely not a spirit, but it could be.

And also, senhaun, how would him saying his sister died two days earlier make it seem more credible? I don't get that part.

And, krytonking, I hope your sister makes it in the afterlife, but, it's like Yoda said, "Mourn not those who became one with the force, miss not those who have became one with the force." Why you ask? Because someday you'll see your sister again.

It makes it more credible because if he says its the grim reaper or a ghost, it would be more likely to appear to him if there was a death recently. I hope that's clear now. And I don't back off from my opinion. Its a hoax, and a bad one. Also in bad taste, not just technique.
