I used to tend to think that these white dots recorded all the time in Mexico were simply balloons. But in this video the person recording zooms in on the objects, and unless it's an illusion it looks like there is some kind of energy field around the objects.

And the objects don't move like a group of balloons in my opinion. They move one way, then move the other way. I would think that a group of balloons would travel in pretty much the same direction.

Either way check out this video and post your thoughts:

They could still be just silver balloons. if someone release a lot (maybe from a fair, circus, etc. nearby) they could bump, expand the formation then all go the same way due to the wind direction.

It doesn't help that when he zooms in all they look like are white squares. That "energy field" around them could just be a false image generated by the crappy camera.

I've seen way better.

Balloons balloons balloons... It's the most popular explain it away of this phenomena. Which is stupid.
If there have been released hundreds of silver balloons that day and all the other times those orbs have been observed, someone would know wouldn't they? After years of being shrouded in mystery, not a single person could confirm there have been purchased hundreds of balloons, filed with helium and send up into the sky...wtf?
They've even been observed in space many times. So if they were balloons they wouldn't have been normal balloons bought at toys'r'us, they would have been specially fabricated balloons. And still no one knows about them?
Or is there a big secret joke going on. Fabricating special balloons, send them up in secret, just to fool the whole world into believing something special is going on? Not likely.
People don't do research anymore. They just shout out BALLOONS! And that's it case solved. And forget about it. It's not that easy!

I'd say they are balloons...

They did look like they were moving kind of weird. But if it was a turbulent day, it's completely possible. And, over the length of the video, they seemed to disperse the whole time...

for fuck sake man, BALLOONS DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT, MOVE LIKE THAT.

Let a balloon go in the air and you'll watch it go higher and higher until it disapears, they do not however move sideways or up and down.

We're talking about an alien intelligence here. Why in the hell would they go lightyears to a primitive world, a world past its mythological era (where it would be awed by something like this) and waste it's time putting on a show?
Especially in a virtual third world country like Mexico? Why not do something like this over Washington or New York?

This being such a famous case, why did nobody ever confirm sending up hundreds of silver balloons? There must have been witnesses to that? Do you think someone did this in secret to fool the whole world? What do you think!?

I honestly just see balloons captured on a very, very shitty camera, with all the typical (and known) artefacts included to back up my claim.

It doesn't help that there's little to go on in terms of reference points. Usually the simplest explanation is the correct one.

Although I'm in favour of calling them balloons, we can't really speculate on what their logic would be if they were alien. Perhaps they would come all this way, flit about our skies, and disappear. Their logic would be so alien to us (har har) that it's bound to be mysterious by our frame of reference. Try explaining the internet to a chimpanzee, and he'll probably just scream and throw poop at you.

So it's either balloons or aliens. Nothing else?

I think a lot of these videos like this are balloons but also some might not be. These seem to be moving foward and backwards

There is a similar event in Mexico when a politician was having a news conference and he looked up and started talking about them. All the cameras looked up and video taped it. It turned out that a mile away, a school had some kind of party where they attached notes to mylar balloons. But, these sightings are seen all the time in Mexico.

That's what i was thinking. If it are balloons, someone should know and then it wouldn't be a subject of discusion amongst ufologists.
If someone confirms they are balloons then i'm with that. Until then i think it's strange that guys like Maussan do such intensive research on them...

If all these cases are balloons why are they only in Mexico. Do school children release balloons a lot there?

People should be obliged to report it when the're going to send up balloons! Makes it a lot easier for us! wink.gif

yeah, make a law that states every time someone sends up balloons they have to be reported so the miniscule UFO community will know they're balloons and not aliens spaceships.

Yeah... uh... do a little, just a little bit of reading on the physics of turbulence before start dropping f-bombs please.

Shooting off at the mouth isn't any way to win a debate... Use your head.
