So there saying that the crop circles are signs of 2012 or end/ new begining of the world? Someone could easily make those crop circles just to make people think that... Hard for me to believe...

Actually there are several scenarios in the articel I posted, but the one I was referring to is the hypothesis that the crop circles represent moon phases and that they end on August 18th.

Never said I believed this....if you have been around awhile, you would know I dont believe in much of this stuff.

Just throwing it out for discussion, as the last day seems to be tomorrow.biggrin.gif

Dear Samurai,

I know you have a penchant for cynicism but don't you think the title you chose for this thread was a bit misleading? I read the link, (thank you for providing it), and I didn't read any of the writers as even suggesting they believed August 18, 2007 was going to usher in the end of the world.

The only statements regarding the importance of that date were contained in the article provided by the Australian scientist who wished to remain anonymous. I thought his theory was ingenious, well thought out and well presented. His only statements regarding 8-18-07 were in the form of the following questions?

To quote: "What could this mean? Might there be something special about a near future date of August 18, 2007? A dramatic increase of cloud cover perhaps?"

I believe there was no need to attempt to ridicule a claim that was never made. Your assertion tended to detract from the truly sensational part of the story, the beauty, magnitude and complexity of the crop circle design itself.
