I saw this in the news today:

I thought it was creepy: a guy dies in the door, they put it out with the garbage. Then I got this image in my head of somebody seeing the door in a dump and saying "Hey, that's a perfectly good door!"

Do you think, if somebody actually put this on their house, is it possible their house would become haunted?

This leads to a bigger question:
If somebody were haunting a house, and the house were taken apart, and the parts were used in other houses, would each of them become haunted? Would only one become haunted?

I know we don't know, but it might be interesting to hear your thoughts.

I'm reminded of the legend of Flight 401, wherein parts from a plane that crashed were allegedly used in other aircraft, which were subsequently haunted, according to the legend, by the ghost of a man who died in the crash.

Just curious things crossing the threshold of my brain today ...

Well kirin-rex, many people think that spirits can be attached to certain objects whether it be a special item to them in their living life or like that story, a place where they where buried or died, much like graveyards that many people say to be haunted. As for the object being taken apart and being used separately, no one can be sure but still i think that it could be possible it would haunt maybe a piece of that item, probably not all of them but a few, that is if the spirit is attached to that item, or if you believe in ghosts, then maybe the spirit passed over and might not even haunt anything. Remember most of this is theory but still interesting to think and wander about.
