sometimes when i log out it doesn't log me out... meaning it says i logged out but the next time i go to log in i'm already logged in...

like it keeps me logged in for hours or days even though i logged out.

 :headscrat  :concussed :twitch: :bs: :dunno:

Sometimes windoze remembers passwords for different sites and automatically logs you in. If you want to clear these settings you can clear them by doing the following..

For internet Explorer: TOOLS->INTERNET OPTIONS General tab, Delete cookies, you can also delete files and clear history here as well. Delete files just gets rid of stored internet pages, clear history does just that, gets rid of your browsing history.

For Firefox: TOOLS->CLEAR PRIVATE DATA, Just tick the boxed (do them all to be sure) then click the Clear Private Data button.

See if that helps, let us know if it does not, and we will go for plan B

Hmmm that sounds like a possible cookie issue... Yo prolly know what I'm about to say but... To be able to log into many places, not just Au but other forums, even hotmail accounts etc... you get given a cookie to stay logged in... something like that... Once you log out, not sure excatly how this works... but somehow the cookie that keeps you logged in gets deactivated... Seems something is askew with maybe your bowser for that to happen?

I never have a problemn to stay out when I have logged out... However, I keep the least amount of cookies in my computer so as soon as I close my bowser, I have the bowser set up so that all cookies are automatically deleted... Which can be a pain if I close my bowser and then later when I reopen it I have relog into everything to get the cookies back into my computer...

I guess a lot depends on how you have set all the options in the bowser you use??? Anyone?

When logging on make sure the "Remember me" box, is clear, then when you log out delete your cookies, that sure cure the problem, if not then you will need to check your PC settings.

Hope this helps. smile.gif
