I was flying home from Phoenix, AZ to Buffalo, NY on a non-stop flight on October 10, 2007. Had a window seat and decided to take some still shots out the window. Was uploading some pictures to my Flickr account and noticed something in this picture. Not sure what it is. Any clues?

I'd say space debris but it looks to be flying in formation, so I dont know tbh.

ice particles off the wing. Why do I think so?

Look at the upturned wingtip: in the closeup, right on the O of COM.

You see something small with the same streak as the other four items.

Look at the wide picture (the first one). You see the streak coming off the top of the wingtip? That object is BETWEEN the wingtip and your window. You can see the streak across the words in the closeup.

I can't say 100%, but having flown lots of times, I'd guess it's loose particles of ice coming off of the wing. That's just a guess, though.

Other than that ... UFOs?

The streaks seem to be in the wrong direction. Don't you think?
You're idea sounds good otherwise.

Dsm1985, dont take this personally but I get very suspicious everytime a known UFO believer posts pics like this.

Apparently having a "chance" encounter like you claim to have
