Does anybody else not find it a little supscious that west virginia blew the national title game by losing to pittsburgh? WVU was a 28 point favorite that equates to a 98% percent chance of winning. Yet, WVU still loses as well as missouri which launches LSU and Ohio State into the national championship game. Those two teams happen to be the 2 most profitable college football teams that had a chance at getting into the big dance as oppose to west viriginia and missouri which would be the two least profitable teams by a large margin. I know its been a crazy season but this is pushing it. I mean pat white gets hurt and steve slaton gets shut down at a very convient time. I think WVU got paid the big bucks to lose on purpose so the two more popular and profitable teams could be in the title game.

Further evidence is the fact that missouri , who finished 11-2 didn't even get a BCS bowl game. Why? cause they couldn't fill the seats like the big name schools.

missouri isn't even in a bcs bowl or the capital one bowl which is the next best thing after a bcs bowl. West Viriginia is in a bcs bowl yeah but thats only because they won their conference (Big East) which gets an automatic bcs bid.

i believe this sort of thing happens all the time it sports. For example: last night when the patriots beat the ravens with bullshit calls and a timeout when they had the stop on fourth and 1:cry: The league is trying to keep them undefeated.
