Nice find Yeti.
I have read that some Tibetians have telepathically been in limited contact with some of the visitors.
Lobsang Rompa's books spoke about ETs breifly.
I would be a day to celebrate, if indeed they make themselves know to all, the world over in 2012 or any year.

I don't see anyone saving our butts in 2012. The saving of us should have started a long , long time before now. The world is the way it is because we have all sat back and given the power to the wrong people to lead us. Well, now they are leading us to communism, greed, monitoring of us, NAU. No , I dont believe any thing is going to save us now. Nice thought tho.

SOUL-DRIFTER:
Lobsang Rompa's books spoke about ETs breifly.
You'd have to take his books with a grain of salt as far as being truth though... He was a fraud and was a British born bloke called Cyril Hoskin. He wasn't a Tibetan, let alone had ever been to Tibet to my understanding... Sort of killed his books for me once I found this out...

Tuesday Lobsang Rampa is the spirit of a dead Tibetan Cyril Hoskinslama (monk) that allegedly took over the body of Cyril Hoskin (1910-1981), a British-born plumber living in Ireland, in the mid-1950s. Hoskin submitted a manuscript to the publishing firm of Secker & Warburg entitled The Third Eye and allegedly authored by Lama Lobsang Rampa. The publisher sent a copy for review to several people knowledgeable in Buddhism and Tibetan culture, including Agehananda Bharati who has published an account of the ensuing affair:

There is no God in Buddhism, but the "lama" apparently hadn't got that far in his library studies. Bharati found many other problems with the claims made by the alleged Tibetan monk.

Thanks Dingo.
The links on him, it was most enlightening.

I will no longer give what T. Labsang Rampa wrote, any consideration.
I never checked him out. I wish now I would have done so earlier.

For a while there he was the biggest thing since sliced bread. For some it was mandatory reading, like Tolkien. Then after a while people found out what a fraud he was as was, I was going to say his research, but it wasn't research, it was a collection of photos, myths and made up events that he put together. I can't say if the world will ind in 2012 (although I am pretty sure it wont smile.gif ) but I do know old Lobsang turned out to be the fraud of the decade.

I know I havent lived that long, next month I will be 50. In my life time I have seen our world fall on its knees , then pick herself up. But now, all I see ahead is greedier people, who are working toward controling us, keep track of us, feeding us all a load of crap on one hand so we wont watch what the other hand is doing. I do believe in aliens, ufos, all kinds of paranormal evernts, but I in no way see any one coming to save us. We long ago gave up our rights to a free life, when we nolonger cared who was leading us. Our votes mean nothing, our health system is so full of crooked doctors out to make a buck, our health means nothing to them. I see people being hateful to each other just to be hateful. They take pride and joy in our discomfort. The REAL ID is for monitoring us and control. If we dont do as we are told to do, they simple will turn off your chip. You wont be able to survive with out it. All your money, your property and etc will be all downloaded othis chip. It will be manitory in May of 2008. The Patriot act was put into effect to take away our rights. coming into our homes with out a warrant, no lawyer to council us. we are being led into communism, to be tortured all on the reason we MAY be a terrorist! The sad part of all this is , is no one is forcing us . We demanded it! We actually have enslaved ourselves. So, the only ones who will save us in 2012 is ourselves. I dont believe the world is going to end, but I dont see it being a better world. I just see ahead saddness, destruction , no more rights, , no more any thing that we are use to. We have sat on our sofas and let ourselves be led .I dont know about other countries, but here in America, we have melted into useless, sad, lonely, people who have no hope. We need to turn off the tv's, dvd players, mp3 players, and gather our families together and communicate with each other. There is no more family structure. We are all so busy taking care of business that we no longer see each other or what is going on in our land and homes. When I look toward the future it scares me to think that I had just as much a part in the destruction of this country as any one else , it makes me sick to my stomach. And I cant look for the silver lining cause it's covered in chemtrails. Diseases floating on air to the ground, to our skin, to our food, to cover every thing. On the reason they are trying to control the weather1 We are being poisoned, morgellons, and so on, so no , I dont see any hope for us being saved from ourselves.

How I would love for even a tiny bit of this to be even remotely close to even the vaguest truth. Really, it would be awesome if we are indeed being looked after by an advanced race, and not just left to rot in our own primitivism and blood thirst.
I think, however unfortunately, I think we are.

I am in no way saying you are wrong cricket, iI respect your views on how bad things are now. But.by comparison, i think we are way better of in so many respects, look through history, the witch hunts, Alexander the great, Ghengis Khan, Australian colonizing, killing aboriginal, The brits and there many ventures to other lands, USA and the native Americans, lets not forget slavery. The horrors are endless, they go on and on and on. I would have hated to be alive on many of the olden days. I see the main difference between now and then is that no one really had much of an awareness of it all because of the distances. Now with technology, TV Internet, wee can literally be anywhere in the world with a single mouse click. Sure, i agree that there is some pretty terrible stuff happening, but no worse than any given point in history. We just know about it now is all.

Yes you right, we know about it, and children are still starving, dying from diseases, children kiling children over dirt! Race wars every day in every country, school shootings, getting killed while doing a little shopping. When you read the newspaper its enough to make you cry. We as the human race have be come so use to the killings, the rapes, the injustices, thats its mundane to us. It's gotten to the point that there is no use to read or listen to any media source any more, its all the same every day. So, oh yes we know, but nothing is being done to change it. Yes there are wonderful people out there fighting the good fight. In the end it wont matter. We have all waited to long to fight the good fight.NO one to blame but ourselves.

Here is an interesting read, the author is the first to say that it is hard to be sure of the accuracy of these numbers, but it is a ballpark I guess, if nothing else it gives us a reminder of some of the nasty stuff we do to each other.
I still think we were more barbaric throughout history, i still think as bad as it is now, it was worse before. But hey who would really know.

Dundee, I know my out look is grim . My whole world is grim, watching my mama fade away with alhemizers, my health not improving, problems in the family, it gets to me at times and my out look is horrible. But I do believe we are all headed for a dismal if not out right horrible futures, especially for our children and grand kids and etc..This world is in a horrible mess, seems no one really cares about each other any more. I remember neighbors helping each other just out of the goodness of there hearts. Now we are afraid to open our doors . Even in my small town it's horrible. We have a sign in our town that says. Valley, alabama , where people care and share. very time I see that I want blow it up. Its so far from the truth. Here there is the good old boy attitude. You're either wealthy or poor here, no in between and are treated as such. All I see is hatard, greed, singleness, and no love for one another. I see NO hope in peoples eyes any more, it's like we have given up.

So shift!
If it is terrible where you are, pack up and move somewhere else. Come to OZ for a holiday smile.gif hehe here I go again smile.gif You would love it here. Stay out of the big cities though. Grab a camper, grab your mum and go wandering. You will love it here. Cities are terrible places, but they always have been though. I really don't mean to keep going on about OZ but, it is just....more friendly. Again i will exclude cities as I think they are much the same everywhere. There is a Canadian who runs a video shop here in my town. He went back to Canada a while ago for a holiday, hadn't been back for 12 years. I said to him, "It must have been great to go back home" He looked up and said, "No, I didn't like it at all, people are so unfriendly. He went on to say that he had become so used to the Aussie way of life, and how total strangers will stop for a yap in the supermarket and so on. He said that when he went back that he often just received stares and bad looks for his approach to people. He concluded by saying that No I didn't go home, Australia is home now, I forgot how unfriendly it is over there by comparison to here. He said he will never go back. I would not stay in a place that I did not feel good about. Life is to short ot be angry and bitter. You may know that a few years back, we sold up everything, house cars the lot. Bought a camper and 4 wheel drive, grabbed the kids and off we went. We only wandered for 12 months as my mum got crook and we decided to come back. But we all asked the same question not long after we left. We said, "Why was this such a hard decision to make" This is the greatest life there is.
Oz is full of what we affectionately call the Grey Nomads. Why not join them.

Brighter days are ahead in our future.
Much darker ones are in our more immidiate future, unfortunately.

The problem I see is yes all those horrible attrocities did happen in the past, yet as humans are we not meant to learn from these mistakes? yet they keep happening. Not on those scales, well not in the recent half century or so, but I feel the world is increasingly on the verge of plunging into some global war/collapse of life as we know it. I wish it wasnt the case, truly, but there is a lot of greed out there, on all sides of the court, I just we can pull through.

I cant remember where I read this but someone once said our species will come to a crossroads that will define us. It will be a huge challenge, where we will either fail miserably and end up wiping ourselves out, or at least writing off the last 1000 years of development, or we will move past this and enter a new age of peace and reason that will last generations. I feel this time may be coming sometime in the next 50 years or, dont know why, but its just a gut feeling
