When I was younger my friend and I used to sleep on the tramponline at night on our farm. Before we fell asleep we'd lay down and look up at the stars. Occasionally we'd see a shooting star or a passing satellite, but there was one occasion I saw something that puzzled me. The "star/object" appeared to be a satellite and I continued to watch it for a second or two and out of nowhere it turned into a neon green/orange color and shot across the sky. The tail was much thicker than a shooting star, much brighter, and it lasted longer.
Any ideas as to what this could have been? |
