Interesting but the Lab analysis of the metal revealed nothing out of the ordinary though?

Welcome to the forum.
It looks to me that you have an ordinary piece of aluminum alloy that was exposed to heat and deterioration from being in the ground. If we are to believe a metal piece is extraterrestrial in origin it must have previously unknown elements and or be a composite or alloy...unachievable by present day. -------------------- QUEST FOR THE REAL TRUTH |

To prove fragments are extraterrestrail requires "isotopic ratio analysis" which an well known organization has agree to have done at their expense in the near future. So one test says its Alluminum(no surprise there),but your hoping "isotopic ratio analysis" will show its actually extraterestrial in origin, is the correct...? -------------------- Nathanial "a_skeptic" Meade 1979-2007 RIP |

ml.....interesting article....nothing looks out of the ordinary in the pics or the reports.....and we would need more information about the setting, where it occurred and what was crashed .....the article also doesn't state the length of time the aluminum has been exposed to the desert environment. Sorry there are to many questions to say it is anything but remnants of an aircraft crash. Bear in mind there was a large military presence in New Mexico in WW2.....its likely from a crash near a current or former base. |

Maybe this will clarify what this is about> http://video.aol.com/video-detail/crc-1067...le03/2540540171 ml...so this debris is from the crash at corona......thanks. It all still looks like melted aluminum.....bear in mind that their were four auxilary airfields in the area of roswell army airfield....which later became Walker AFB......so no doubt there would be debris in the area. |

Silicone is often added to certain aluminum alloys.
QUOTE 4xxx series - The major alloying element of this group is silicon, which can be added in sufficient quantities (up to 12%) to cause substantial lowering of the melting point without producing brittleness in the resulting alloys. For these reasons aluminum-silicon alloys are used in welding wire and as brazing alloys where a lower melting point than that of the parent metal is required. QUOTE 6xxx series - Alloys in this group contain silicon and magnesium in approximate proportions to form magnesium silicone, thus making them heat-treatable. Though less strong than most of the 2xxx or 7xxx alloys, the magnesium-silicon alloys possess good formability and corrosion resistance, with medium strength.

I personally feel they found nothing other worldly at all and that they were persuing a Wild Goose Chase.
Any and all debri is gone long ago. What is left behind is not something overlooked, but rather ordinary debri from earthly crafts. -------------------- QUEST FOR THE REAL TRUTH |
