I was thinking on the lines of how the "civilized world" helps the rest of world.
It seems that there is this commonly accepted view that something wrong with the rest of world. And in particular something wrong with how people live their lives.
Perhaps it’s just how they/we decide to see, “Anything that does not resemble our way must be wrong, because we are up here and you are down their” kind of mentality.

But in retrospect did the civilized world not go through the same experiences?
And in my eyes the more we try to help the more harm we do, perhaps we should just sit back and let the world take it’s course.

China and Japan both adopted policies of isolation from the rest of the world and as a result within 30 years they have established themselves among the leading nations.

Sorry if I seem a little naive but my forte is mostly philosophy and this just came to mind
