Surface

I was a big fan and was really disappointed when the show got cancelled. The ending had to be so rushed - it was really a let down. If anyone else here was a fan or watched it, then I'm sure you know what I mean.

The show centered around creatures in the deepest portions of our oceans, so deep in fact that their habitat was on the edge of our earth's molten core. Their bodies had adapted for such harsh environments by a mucus-type substance that covered their bodies that was heat resistant, allowing them to virtually live in peace in the highest of temperatures deep in our oceans. The characters involved included a young boy who, while out boating, stumbled upon the creature's eggs which floated on the surface of the water. He took one home, placed it in his fish tank, and from there, he was in charge of raising a baby sea monster.

With how little we still even today know about the depths of the oceans around the world, every so often finding new species (we still are learning about our giant squid), it isn't that unlikely that something similar may exist without our knowing. What are your theories? What do you believe is out of our site? Do you think it's possible for such large, dinosaur-like creatures to exist today?

The whole concept of right and wrong was...alien to us. Your emotional core, your strength, your feeling, and our more evolved consciousness. Could we bring these two together? If we could do this, we would have the next step in the evolution of life."
