Hi,
I have had some weird experiences and just want to discuss. I'm not looking for people to pat me on my back, I would just like to get this out there... When I was about 8 years old, I went to sleep and awoke to me punching my bed. I slept in a bunk bed on the bottom half, and woke up the entire house because I was screaming for every one to escape, and that I would "hold them back"... My mom kinda freaked about that one. About 2 years later, I switched beds and began taking martial arts. One night, I went to sleep and had this dream that I was laying in bed. (Weird.. I know) But then, the bed disappeared and I was now laying on some kind of table. There was a small "grey like" alien standing next to me, and I think we both realized I wasn't asleep any more at the same time. I freaked the hell out, and he probably would have too, but I rolled off that table and punched him as hard as I could. I mean I felt my hand pop as this little guy went down. I spotted a door and just bolted. The only thing I could think was that I was going to die, and I needed to save the planet... I thought I would crash the ship into the sun or something like in a movie. Well, I made it about another 100 feet, and as a rounded a corner, I came up against an opaque shield of red and when I turned around there were some huge "guys" behind me. About 8 feet tall, and very "fat" in armored suits of some sort. So I started screaming at the top of my lungs, and I rushed the closest one, and tried to hit him. I remember my vision blurring and blood going every where, because I just broke my hand. When I woke up, I checked my hands, and noticed scars. 5 to be exact. One on the top of my hand, and 4 on the fingers themselves. Never had them before. But I do now. Then I realized that my bed was made and I was on top of the sheets. But... My bed had been flipped. I was laying like I had when I got into bed, but now the sheet was positioned to allow entrance at my feet, instead of my head. I hadn't changed the configuration, and my mom denied it as well. No one else lived in the house. The reason I am posting is my most recent dream. Due to my job I usually sleep with a pistol next to my bed. Well... I woke up last night, and the room was filled with light. As if someone had turned on all the lights in the room. So I immediately rolled over and snatched my handgun up, and simultaneously scanned the room. Thats when I realized the light was coming from outside. I thought someone was at the door, and so I started pointing the weapon at the door, while running my other hand against the top of the weapon to verify a round was in the chamber. Just as my finger hit the raised indicator, I "passed out" and I realized I was conscious but I couldn't move or speak, or even see. I was just floating. Next thing I know, I wake up, and I am fine, but most of the blisters and other injuries I've had are gone, and I am feeling much better. Which is strange, because I spent the day before yesterday marching for 30 miles... (My feet were so swollen they were purple and I had to spend time in a doctors office) But now I am just peachy. Thanks for listening... |

Welcome to the forum.
I sounds to me that you had a wild lucid dream(s) and that you acted out your dreams. -------------------- QUEST FOR THE REAL TRUTH |

Thanks for listening... You seem to have physical evidence of something that happened in a dream. Hmm. Doesn't sound like a dream to me! It takes a special mind to resist them. A handgun won't be any good against them. They have ways of making it useless ( setting the safety from a distance for example.) |

A friend of mine's kid got up out of bed, went to his wardrobe, got a t-shirt, and started to put it on his legs as a pair of trousers. His parents noticed the light on (he also turned the lights on) and went to check. They found him trying hard to put the shirt on his legs, and asked what he was doing. This is when the boy woke up, and had no memory of how he managed to get into that situation.
People can do weird things in their sleep. Especially the young. When I was around 5 years old, I had a lucid nightmare not unlike hallucinations that little devil creatures were crawling on my skin. It took both my parents to hold me down, and this lasted for ah hour. When I closed my eyes, I saw everything around me burn. The moment I opened them, I saw the little devils. Maybe it was a bad mushroom that I ate, I don't know (we were picking wild mushrooms to eat for dinner daily). -------------------- -senhuan the duck
It is by will alone I set my mind in motion. |

One of my boys is 12 and he regularly wakes up, without actually waking up. Probably 1 or 2 nights a week he will wake up and be lost in the corridor, usually prompted by a need to visit the toilet. the thing is, he is standing there, eyes open, and able to talk to me, but always totally delirious.
The other night he woke absolutely sure that his hand we being crushed, and something was pulling at his eyes. He of course was dreaming while standing there. I hugged him, and talked him through it until he woke. Then he was as normal as anything. He has always done this. It is a standing joke that he will wake up and pee on something, totally unaware he is doing it. In his mind, he is outside under a tree. So far he hss peed in his wardrobe, down a flight of stairs, in a cupboard, in a flip top rubbish bin, in a pot plant in the corner and once on his brother. Yet when woken, he was absolutely sure he was either in the toilet, or outside. It seems he is perfectly capable of being in a dream and awake and able to talk at the same time. I am not saying that this is what is happening to you, but I am saying that it is certainly possible, as I have seen first hand it is possible to be awake and a sleep at the same time. |
