We have had our share of 'big cat' reports here in Wisconsin as well.
What bothers me is the police shooting it....why? Couldn't they have called wildlife officials and had it tranquilized? They thought it was going to attack them?....sorry but I picture a bunch of bumbling trigger happy police here.(no offense tutu) http://www.cryptomundo.com/cryptozoo-news/chic-puma/ Your thoughts? |

I wonder if he gets to hang it up on his liveing room wall. I suppose thay had to shoot it anyways if it had got out of that stairwell it could have ran into a kid or anything but mayb thay should have just stood down for 5 or 10 mins and covered both sides of the street there was only 2 ways it could have tryed to run. |

It really angers me when wild animals are simply killed for being in the wrong place. We all have to remember that this was their land LONG before humans arrived. It's not fair, it's not right. I think the animal should have been tranquilized and transported to the wild - surely it wouldn't have been that hard, right? C'mon!

If the first police officer didn't do anything, why did the second feel the need to? If the cougar ran down into the basement, why didn't they just shut and lock the door until animal control arrived? Or did they even bother to call them? |

if you corner a wild animal, there is only one outcome.fight or flight and the cougar couldn't fly.

I did see a big cat outside of chicago south on I55 about a year and half ago.I was driving along about 8pm onenight, out right side of my head light i glance over and saw exactly what the cops looks like latter they shot.I knew it was some type of wild cat when i saw it.Thats why if you notice the deer like to hang out on shoulder of the roads because of all the preditors hunting at night.I drive truck for living and i see all kinds wildlife. Two days ago i saw a hawk and two big crows fighting over what looks like rat and the hawk won.The cops probably nknew a big cat was lurking around the suburb and when one of them cornered it they do whats natural for humans and thats to kill it.The E.T.s out there know this. They know humans. From some of the vedios ive seen espacially the vampire types ive seen in the jungle i probably would empty clip in that thing ..There is stuff in the amazon i dont believe we have seen before. Are they comming out of stargate,Where are these things comming from?

Haven't seen that yet. Funny how majority of people think animals are "dumb" and lower than them - even after an event like this. This mule deserves a medal of honor! Here is the link to the photos that I saw: http://www.blackbearheaven.com/horse-kills-cougar.htm |
