Guy says he knocked an alien out with a stick when it killed his dog. Thought he killed it and broght it home putting it in his freezer. It woke up. He got some video tape and pixs. Also audio recordings.

He was on Art Bell coast to coast.

Now he lives in Mexico and has a web site where he offers his story for sell. While the argument can be made that seeking profit destroys credability, the owner of this forum knows that everything has a cost.

Is Dr. Reed making it up for profit or merly exploiting what happened? Can't fault him for trying to make a buck. If his story is true he was hounded, even shot, and lost everthing over it. Needs to recover something. I would be more suspect if he was trying to gather a cult following but that does not seem to be the case.

Just discovered this myself so don't know if there was a thread already. Know nothing about it so I ask.

If you sift through all th youtube vids he claims it didn't die, but slowly recovered. Then it supposedly escaped or was taken when his house was ransacked. However he claims to have submitted tissue samples from the wound on its head for analysis.

Same number of chromasome pairs as human. Seven chromasomes distinctly different from human, not related to any other known life but with similarities to dolphen, turtle, and reptile.

There are quite a few vids on youtube. ONe supposedly shows its eye blinking when he realised it wasn't dead. Some show the tech bracelet that supposedly controlled the ship. He claims he gave the bracelet to a contact in the ufo investigation community because he was in danger from the men in black as long as he had it.

This was actually very interesting. I am not sure what to make of it. The pictures seems to be real, or at the very least a good model. The thing that makes me a bit sceptic about it is the whole "i am on the run" thing. If people in high up places wanted to catch him, they would do it with little to no problem.

Yeah probably. He did get shot through the shoulder once. If you saw the pix of the wound it looked pretty nasty. Although the shooter ran away. It was like a scuffle thing and the shooter acted like an accident where he was surprised the gun went off.

It seems as though he gives just enough info to make you want to know more and buy his book. Course I would do the same thing if I had to flee to Mexico and needed a way to support myself.

Seems to have some ring of truth. But I would also make it seem that way if I needed some book sells too.

Indications that as soon as he gave up the alien wrist ship control bracelet he was left alone.

Interesting story, just that I haven't been willing to buy the book. True or not if it helped bring disclosure then I would be more receptive. Don't need convincing, I already have my beliefs. Too much conflicting info out there that only transperancy from official sources would clear up.

Good catch. Thats why I stareted this post to seek answers. It is always suspect when someone seeks to profit from an alledged experiance.

By the same token you cannot fault someone for wanting to make a buck from their experiance. The world does turn on a dollar. There have been many true stories published for profit. A most notable one is the diary of Ann Frank. Unfortunatly she died long before her story was published and others profited. Still her story was in need of being told.

What makes this one suspect is how Reed proposed to know the interdimensional aspect of the supposed alien. I would guess that a real encounter would only be able to offer the direct interaction. When they start getting into the background information, of which they would be unlikly to know anything about, then it becomes suspect. Especially when that background info plays into the perceptions of the more extreme believers expectations.

Consider the case of Clark McClelland. He seems totally authentic and has been unable to get a book deal since being dismissed by NASA in 1992. They dismissed him when they found out he was involved with a UFO group. He has long alledged inside knowledge of an official NASA coverup. Now he offers his NASA memorabilia for sale on his website because he claims poverty. His pension and/or retirement was denied by the govnment. He just isnt that good at marketing himself. Unfortunatly it is the savvy markiter who profits and not necessarily the truths that are less spectacular.

Weighing Reeds evidence against the link you give, I would have to go with ufo watchdog on this one.

I e-mailed ufowatchdog seeking info on another subject. Response was that he no longer had an interest in the ufo subject.

Seems that his only interest in the subject to begin with was fleeting and to debunk. As it has always been it is up to each to make their own evaluation.

I think there are 10-11 parts he shows. A lot of it is entirely convincing. Noteworthy points are:
1.) The eyes blink
2.) The alien moves its head on it's own when he tends to the wound.
3.) If it weren't real, this guy is a pretty damn good actor (see when he's in the woods).
4.) The guy got shot shortly after in what seemed to be a kidnapping (he didn't intend to shoot, and when he did, he bolted b/c of it).
5.) The model is really nice
6.) The eyes give off the "red eye" glisten in pictures.
7.) The hovering obelisk messed the camera up when he got moderately close to it, which makes sense, as if it were hovering, it'd be manipulating the use of electromagnetism... something of that magnitude would do crazy things to a camera from the '90s.
8.) Potential alien DNA and potential dog DNA from disintegration. Keyword.. potential.

However, the story is quite odd. Leaving his freezer unlocked w/ a live, and conscience alien in it? While he's gone? I'd be scared it would pounce on me and attack when I get back. That and it seems that the alien's chin is different in the red-eye picture, from the other pictures of him laying in the room.

More power to this man. After having been on the receiving end of 3 or more abductions myself, its high time someone made them pay. I would love nothing more than to abduct an alien, cause him to lose his wife due to his search for the truth and make him struggle to make the child support payments. They have no idea the pain they cause just so they can "study" us.
