Hello,
my name is David, 27 years old, France. This is not a joke, and even if much of you won't believe in, I hope that it could interest someone... An afternoon, as I was in my garden, I heard a big noise as if a plane was just above me, though nothing was visible... then, I saw something lightening falling straightly from the sky, as controlled, and when it touched the ground, no noise and no broken pieces around. I approached the place and then I found this blue rock, that was hot but not burning, in a perfect state ! You can watch it below... It is blue, translucid, with a thousand bubbles within, and weighing about 0.8 LB, that is equal to 1750 carat... Knowing that everything extraterrestrial and still unknown on the Earth is unestimable... we'll sell it to the one who'll give us the best price. This announce is nevertheless not limited at this forum neither in time. Obviously, you don't have to believe us. So, if you're interested, an expertise could be practised by the expert of your choice... Otherwise, we didn't tell everything about the stuff, but we'll give more informations to the purchaser about how it's happened... I wait with impatience for answers and impressions. Thanks for reading David

Lookng for suckers in those who believe?
Get a report from an accredited geologist with experiance in evaluating meteorites. Good meteorites can have considerable value. Looks like a piece of industrial glass with bubbles to me. If you want more income potential from those willing to accept your story then I have a lot more of it to sell you at a reasonable cost. Will sell it by the pound. |

I agree, it does look like glass.
Tell ya what jax, you send me a small piece. I'll have it tested and if it comes back as something extraterrestrial, I'd gladly buy the rest from you. If not, then I am 99% sure that you are just fishing for a sucker. |

Concidering the fact that Jax has only posted here once, and his/her first post was to sell us something which is probably a shitty ass piece of glass he probably dug up out of his bullcrap garden cause he probably doesn't even have a garden, he probably dug it out of some trash can out of some ghetto...I'd say this covers it. Actually I do have a friend who is a Geologist and for a good laugh I plan on showing his this image just to find out what this is because I really doubt it will take actual physical handling of the "alien rock". I'm pretty sure a good eye balling of the SUPER LARGE image will do just fine. Besides, if someone really did have a piece of an alien rock (which by the way why would rocks fall out of a UFO?)...why would you want to go out and sell it? Having it for yourself would be the most amazing thing in exsistance, even if you couldn't prove a damn thing. For goodness sake, get a life dude! The limits people will go for money.

Jax, by now you know you are not going to find any suckers here.
Why not take your fancy blue glass and peddle it on Ebay or something. There is always a sucker there. |

Hi,
sorry but I allow myself to insist, this is not a trap for suckers... I even told you that an expertise would be done with the potential purchaser, and this, where he desires, to prove the alien origin of the rock. Doesn't it testify of my sincerity ? I want to sell it because I'm not crazy about ufology, even if I've got interest for it. I'll get myself happy to keep a pic as memory. |

alright Jax, well here is an EXPERT'S opinion of the so called "alien rock". I transferred the image to a friend of mine, George who has been working in Geology for over 30 years. Here was what he had to say. You can tell a lot from a high resoloution photo. Which thankfully you have provided.
QUOTE It is definately glass. It can not be from a meteorite becasue it has fresh breaks with nice conchoidal fractures and even tiny air bubbles. There are a lot of impurities it in, but that would not mean much. I would guess that it was glass slag. Someone at a glass plant or that was familiar with glass making processes or glass waste from some other industrial processes may be able to tell you more. Take Care, George now...let's see if we can find images of glass waste slag and compare them, yay! -------------------- ![]() |

Thank you for your help,
but never I asked you to tell me what it is... because I already know. It's not meteorite and not glass, because glass doesn't fall from the skies, being controlled and lightening. For me it doesn't provide from space but it has been brought by a ufo. and it was wanted... This post has been edited by Jax: May 10 2008, 07:08 PM |

If it can rain fish... http://scienceline.org/2006/09/17/physics-...er-rainingfish/
If it can rain metal... http://news.softpedia.com/news/More-Weird-...ens-81915.shtml Why would it be so hard to believe a bit of stray glass debris may land on your lap? Could be a million more plausible explanations than a bit of alien supplied rock Numerous times throughout history there have been records of strange things falling from the sky. Many times it is explained by tornadoes, water spouts, gales (or really strong winds), volcanoes erupting, and even objects falling off of airplanes. Looking at a map of areas were strange objects fell out of the sky, I noticed many of them were near coasts and even major rivers. This most likely suggests that many of the cases are caused by weather, especially in the cases where fish fall from above. No matter what exactly was the cause of the strange fallings they are still fascination to read about. Here are some accounts from a book I love to check out from the library "Mysteries of the Unexplained": *Ancient Historians, including Procopius, Marcellinius, and Theophanes, record a fall of black dust in the year 472 BC, during which the sky seemed to be on fire. The location of the fall is uncertain but may have been Constantinople. *During the reign of Charlemagne (9th century AD) and enormous block of ice, 990 cubic feet fell from the sky. *Most falls from the sky recorded in ancient times have modern parallels, but a few are unique. There is for example, no recent counterpart of the fall of large yellow mice that occurred in Bergen, Norway, in 1578 or the lemmings that fell there in 1579. *A fibrous substance resembling blue silk fell in great quantities at Naumberg, Germany (southwest of Leipzig) , on March 23, 1665. *At Acle, a village in Norfolk, England, small toads fell from the sky in such vast numbers that the local people were greatly inconvenienced. In October 1683 it was reported that the villagers had to sweep them up by the bucketful for burning. *On May 5, 1786, the last day of a drought that had lasted since the previous November, a "great quantity" of black eggs fell on Port-au-Prince Haiti. They hatched the next day, and some of these strange animals were preserved in a flask of water. The creatures shed their skin several times and resembled tadpoles. *The following is an account of a deluge of toads on the village of Lalain France in 1794: "It was a very hot day. Suddenly, at about 3 o' clock in the afternoon, there fell such an abundance of rain that 150 men of the grand guard, in order not to be submerged, were obliged to leave a large depression in which they were hidden. But what to their surprise when there began to fall on the ground all about a considerable number of toads, the size of hazelnuts, which began to jump about in every direction," said M. Gayet *A 10 minutes shower of toads fell at Jouy-en-Josas, near Versailles, France, in June of 1833 was witnessed by M. Heard. They bounced off his umbrella, hopped about on the pavement, and were as numerous as the raindrops. He saw them scattered for some 1,200 feet. *At the Benicia army station near San Fransico, troops on the drill ground were showered with blood and pieces of meat, apparently beef, on July 20, 1851. Specimens from the size of a pigeon's egg up to that of an orange were given to the army surgeon, who described some slices as being "slightly tainted". *A shower of candy is recorded as having occurred in some in some sections of Lake County, California, on the nights of September 2 and 11, 1857. "It is said that on both of these nights there fell a shower of candy or sugar. The crystals were from 1/8th to 1/4th of an inch in length and the size of a goose quill. Syrup was made of it by some of the lady residents of the sections. *Flesh and blood fell for 3 minutes and covered 2 acres of Mr. J. Hudson's farm near Los Nietos, California, on Aug. 1, 1869. The day was clear and windless, and flesh fell as fine particles as well as in strips from 1 to 6 inches long. Short fine hairs also fell with it. In the article on this phenomenon in the San Francisco Evening Bulletin dated Aug. 9th , 1869, it was also reported that flesh and blood had fallen in Santa Clara 2 months earlier. *A rain of living snakes fell over the southern part of Memphis Tennessee in 1877. They measured from a foot to 18 inches in length and were presumed to have been swept into the air by a hurricane; but where snakes might exist in such an abundance (they fell by the thousands) is still a mystery. *White frogs fell on Mosely, a suburb of Birmingham England, during a sever thunderstorm on the morning of June 30th, 1892. *Pennies and half pennies fell around children leaving school in Hanham, a suburb of Bristol, England, one day in 1956. *On August 27, 1968, blood and flesh fell on an area of about 1/3rd of a square mile between the Brazilian towns of Cacapava and Sao Jose dos Campos. The fall was reported to have lasted about 5 to 7 minutes. *Banknotes to the value of 2,000 marks fluttered down from a clear sky at Limburg, West Germany, in January 1976 and were picked up by 2 clergymen. |

In any case, isn't this still breaking the rules as "spam"? I mean this dude is trying to SELL us something. Just because it's classified as an "alien rock" doesn't mean it's not spam. Just my 0.02 cents.

I read one proposal that an ancient space war broke up a planet in our solar system resulting in the asteroid belt. The oceans of this planet froze encapsulating organisms. These blocks of ice occasionally fall to earth thawing in the upper atmosphere. The problem I have with that it that many of the fallen animals are still alive. Most things die frozen in ice. Cell damage from water expansion during freezing. Who knows about quick frozen in space, but I would call that a long shot. |
