i personally think the whole ufo scenario is a government spun cover story.They prefer for you to think we are being visited by aleins,then flying top the secret highly advanced aircraft,they would like their enemies to think the same to.
another thing the authorities no longer seriously investigate sightings,why would they say they pose no threat to our security.So something strange flying in your airspace,nobody knows what it is and that isn't a risk,maybe if a flying saucer had a red star or a swatika on it then there would be concern.its becuase they know full well what's going on.the military are also in the game plan as is nasa.i find it hard to believe we still use rockets to get into space,the shuttle is just the public view aircraft..plus you have no idea what they take up there,as we have no real idea what is on the moon and mars unless you believe what you are told by the authorities who run the telescopes and space program.Millions of dollars are made from ufo and paranormal stories all the more reason to continue the spin.the government have nothing to loose,if they believed there was a threat they would need us to be aware and informed of the action to be taken,install martial law to contain public order etc.

If they come,they will come in their thousands,everyone will know at the same time,no species undertakes vast journeys to watch and observe,it to conquer and propagate.but i could be wrong,thats just my view.waddayafink?

The UFO phenomenon is not confined to modern times.

Macdaddy, I see no reason to contradict you. Your free to have your doubts but I would still like to comment.

You mention they "the authorities no longer seriously investigate sightings". Maybe the did investigate them and know do now without a shadow of a doubt that they are real. Just don't want to tell you that. If they said "they say they pose no threat to our security" don't you think it could have a calming effect on people? Is their job to scare you or protect you? Announcing that they are real would only serve to harm (in their eyes) the public that seem so jumpy on the subject of aliens.



It would be scary indeed if they had another more advanced technology to travel space. You may think other more advanced forms of space flight are as simple as a new engine design. No they are not. If they did have another more advanced system they just bypassed 500 years of research. I don't think so.

The next engine for space flight for this civilization is not the super duper engine, it is a higher powered chemical engine.

Speeking purely as an opinion, the disk shaped craft you see are craft that are purely planet bound. They are authorized for this planet because should they crash, 1. They are too advanced to be understood easily by us and 2. They are planet side craft thus not giving us space travel if we get our hands on one and figure out how to duplicate the technology.



What threat? Cow shooting, civilization buzing aliens that they can't stop anyway are not enough of a threat to prevent us from getting up to this level of civilization. They seem to be very touch and go. So what threat do you think they are that could require Marshal law? Or would the Marshal Law be needed because they said "aliens are real".

"Grays" will not make a public entrance for fear of stirring mankind. They don't want us in the interstellar theater and announcing themselves would do just that. It takes allot of work to convince aliens that they are not and that the notion of aliens is preposterous. This hot bead of a universe is enjoying peace and quite it has not seen for a very long time. Many years have gone into creating this atmosphere and they will not undo it all lightly.



Thousands? oh come now, such an itty bitty number. Do you real think it is possible that they could only have a population number no bigger than ours? Remember that if they could get to other planets, then they have multiple planets. And that is not saying anything about the fact that we are space hogs that think we are over crowded. So why send a thousand? If they were going to attack us, don't you think they would want to attack people with sticks or swords rather then ones with automatic riffles? A billion vs 7 billion? Hmm, toughie eh? lol. So they are not attacking. Good news for us. It is highly doubtful that they would procrastinate only to stop now. It is not like they are an evil race that needs to suck our blood.



We do... allbeit that we send only a small number to do the observing. I don't know why anyone would think that there are allot of aliens here on or in the vicinity of Earth. There is just a small hand full. A few observers and a very small armed detachment mostly for protection and minor policing of stray probes. Not much of a threat to us. This little group would be suicidal to attack us and they are more than aware of that, as if they harbored such intent.



Try to remember that time is not so short as to think with just a few years. Truly if they wanted to attack they would find that all the procrastination would only make it harder. At this point we are tough enough that it would be a pain. I know you may not be able to list good reasons why having us alive would help them other than as some kind of vampire or carnivorous snack but there is another reason they benefit form us being here. I can understand why you would think they might attack us. But notice that they haven't. I can understand why someone would think that if they have not attacked us then they must be friends to us. Yet they are not nor see themsleves as such.

Into all this many people here on Earth think the subject is just crazy. In that case there is allot of crazyness caused by nothing. The notion that aliens are real is not hard to grasp. It is written into and all through your blood. The subconscious is activated like crazy by mentioning alien activities. Space compels people because it is your home.

If the notion of possible future war with aliens gives you a fright, then relax a little, we have allies. Earth also has a few secrets up it's sleeve. It is getting a super injection on multiple fronts. Ever get the feeling we are progressing rapidly? That is a well founded feeling. 1200 years of progression compressed into 100. We would go faster if we could but we are pushing the limit without destroying ourselves. This planet and it's populace have been given assets others could only dream of and most never believed possible. The "Grays" shadow by compassion. Others of our race can not equal what this planet is capable of. If left unhindered in it's early stages, this planet will become a super power unlike any this universe has ever seen. And no, I did not overstate it in the slightest.

hi scottman,i always look forward to your comments,wether you agree or not,it helps to hear alternative views or comments.my theory does have a few little holes,but so does my favourite jumper and i still wear it.it just a slghtly more down to earth opinion.
