This was horrifying!

okay well it started when i was watching TV, and my everything happened in a shock. next thing i know I'm running upstairs to get the flashlight, and running in my basement, hiding under a table, as Twister sirens went off!!

okay this is the weird part:

i went outside to check it out, and there were so many tornadoes out there, that they covered my house!!!
but none of them touched down?!? wacko.gif so i think it could be alien activity! for one thing, there is a cattle farm across the street, and maybe some type of alien was there to abduct them? idk... you tell me

got a link for it,need more convincing.maybe you didn't stay out long enough for the tornado's to touch down, that can only be a good thing.the only thing a cow would be abducted by is the tornado, instantly turning into a beef jerky.

Well, very often, when there's one tornado, there are often others as well. Watch the videos of storm chasers. I saw one the other day, and they saw four tornadoes within about 30 minutes (and not the same one four times: four twisters).

It would be unusual, though, I think, to have more than two or three in a very small area (such as over a house). Sounds like you witnessed something pretty rare.

Having lived in Tornado Alley, though, I believe you.

Very large tornadoes can often have satellite twisters branching off of them. I have seen the video of this. Pretty wild!

Tournados and their satelites skip off the earth and become arial then touch down again all the time. Several years ago one cut a path of destruction right up to a small area of my neighborhood then continued destruction on the other side. Right where I lived only a few treetops were twisted off. A mile away it crossed the river becoming a waterspout that flipped a truck over on the bridge.

It has also been shown that very large tornadoes are often a collection of smaller ones within what appeared to be a single large vortex.

Consider youself lucky that you had a unique and rare perspective of a natural phenomena that is rarly seen by anyone who survived to report the view.

Tornadoes can be very weird. I had a teacher in junior high who said that years ago she had seen a twister come down upside-down, with the small part at the top and the big part at the bottom, and then it went up into the clouds and came down the right way. I don't know if that's even possible, but it's a cool story.

Yes it is possible. They have been observed as sideways near mountains where the landscape alters the air flow.

Normally they form when dense cold air falls into a rising layer of hot expanding air. After forming the thermal inversion layer powering them could flip for a short period of time. What would likily happen in this case is the original tornado would collapse and be replaced by a newly formed one in its place.

It's absolutely possible for something like that to happen. It's pretty rare but still possible. As for alien activity i think you're just overreacting to a natural phenomenon.
