Its 2:20 Am..
I find myself not fitting in sometimes, and not the feeling of not being wanted or welcome but as if a dont belong 100%. Every night I find myself drawn to one point of the sky. I feel at peace when im looking into a dark empty sky. Its almost like I feel drawn to it. Its hard to explaine let alone experiance. I find myself close to tears looking up into the heavens, and the more i look the more at peace i feel. If it was a one time thing i could understand it to be "odd" but its every night, atleast 5 hours. I could feel content watching this one Orange star( at least i think its a star ) move acrost the sky every night. Do you guys know the feeling you remember as a child the warmth and love you felt knowing that when you hurt yourself parents would be there like a safty net? Thats the feeling that I get when Im looking at "my part of the sky". Im at a point when .... do i question that im not from here? I have dreams of memorys of un-earthly heavy shades of red filled skys and deep dark teal water but thats all i can remember. Also i have points in my sleep that i wake up but cant move and something calms me to breath slowly as not to pass out. It only lasts for 3-6 seconds, but the odd thing is i dont feel afraid. What could this mean or if any1 has the same experiances or knows what might draw me to the sky PLEASE let me know. |

I used to sit outside for hours watching the sun go down, and I would get a huge feeling of peace. There's a topic here somewhere about this: about feeling like one doesn't fit in and looking at one part of the sky ... http://www.alien-ufos.com/index.php?s=&...st&p=358457 -------------------- The optimist sees a glass that is half-full.

At night I always look to Orion. It's nice to know that no matter where I find myself in the world I can always spot good old Orion. Oh, the reason why you feel you aren't fitting in is probably b/c you are dwelling on it. I'm pretty sure everyone else around you is feeling slightly the same way. Turn around to someone and just say "Hi," and smile.

We all feel that way at some point. Can I ask you about how old you are. I ask this only because we can get very retrospective at different times in our lives, and sometimes different ages.

Every time wifey and I are outside tgether I show her Orion. She can find it in any hemisphere now. Pretty nifty. Although we have that much in common, I have to disagree with your assesment of the feelings involved. Did you ever stop to think about whether or not those people looking at the same constellation as you are feeling the same way for a reason? I also do not feel like it is a homesickness. I find it to be more of a "that place is awesome" kind of vibe. I have always said it was my favorite. Perhaps I have been to/lived on a place in that general vicinity and liked it. Perhaps out of many, we'll call them experiences, experiences that was the only place I had a pimpin' treefort? |

I've always like those three stars together (especially the middle belt-buckle one: Alnilam), and the really bright star at his shoulder (Bellatrix). I've always like the little dipper too, especially the bright star at the end (Polaris). I also like Mars because it looks reddish. Note: I don't actually know the names of the stars: I looked it up on google Earth's nightsky. See, I don't like these places because I think I came from there: I like them because they are important points in relation to my position HERE, on Earth. It's the comfort of familiarity because they are so easy to find and they are the only points I can recognize easily since I don't know many constellations. -------------------- The optimist sees a glass that is half-full.

Regardless of how absurd you think they are. If nothing else you will learn the limits of your imagination. |
