I think any such effect is an unexpected and probably unknown side effect. And it's not like they can target it at another country. It's pointing up. Or something. I am a fish. I am a fish. I am a fish. I am a fish. I am a fish. I am a fish. I am a fish. I am a fish. I am a fish. I am a fish.

Oh, I love HAARP.

Mac, HAARP is real in a sense: it uses Extremely Low Frequency sound waves. It was originally designed by DARPA for the US Navy to allow the mainland to theoretically contact submarines WHILE submerged, meaning they no longer need to surface to receive orders. That's the theory, and I know that they HAVE been working on the system. Whether or not IT works is another story.

http://arcticcircle.uconn.edu/VirtualClass.../HAARP/acf.html
That's the official story.

However, it's one of the great conspiracy theories.

People believe that HAARP has been directed at fault lines to trigger earthquakes in other countries (such as Iran and China).

Other people believe it has been directed at the atmosphere to trigger storms (such as the typhoon in Burma).

Other people believe it is responsible for global warming, or that it is part of an effort at population control by sterilizing the planet, or that it is being used for mass mind-control, or that it is an antenna for keeping in contact with the aliens who have secretly enslaved the human race through our leaders, etc. etc.

My favorite has to be the earthquake weapon.

I've seen a massive ELF antenna in Dorset.

I always thought HAARP was responsible for the "Bermuda Triangle", when it was in it's testing phase. Either that one or Tesla's electro-magnetic beams (also testing/research).

sl....I think the HAARP came quite a bit after the bermuda triangle theories began.....what would have caused the earlier disappearances...(besides being lost and claimed by the sea).....bear in mind columbus reported strange things as he sailed westward until he rain aground..... blink.gif

Couldn't they beam it to a Military Satellite and then re-direct it to a designated target?

In a court of law, yes. In a scientific quest for truth, no.

Yes, yes it would be, you cannot have a scientific quest for "truth" without evidence.

Smoothe.

You cannot scientifically deny the existence of something without evidence.

Many religious authorities denied the existence of a spherical earth for centuries.

Not so smooth.
