I'm just interested to know why it was locked? I understand if it was to stop any gruesome speculation.

@TallWhite, I'm still interested in any background you have on the original photos. If you have any maybe you could post it here or pm me. I have some friends that are working for the Red Cross and World Vision in China, if thats where the boy is from maybe they get his family some help.

Out of respect, I felt it needed to be ended.
I got some complaints about it as well.
TallWhite, wished he hadn't posted it and it probably should have been deleted back then.
Perhaps it still should.
If Cmdr or another Mod feel differently then they can make changes.

I agree, SD. I had thought last night about maybe contacting TallWhite to see if he would be willing to delete it considering that the child was likely horrifically injured. However, I ultimately didn't contact him because it IS his post, and I thought that just because I feel sad about the boy in the picture, it might not be reason enough to trash the whole thread.

I think locking it is a good compromise. My heart really does break for that poor kid.
