What does everyone think of the following article?

There is an interesting independent movie circulating on the internet by the name of Zeitgeist. At least one of the makers of this film were also involved with a movie we support called “The God who wasn’t there”. (worth watching)
Zeitgeist addresses subject matters that would be considered conspiracy theories by some but cause for alarm by others. A few of the topics covered are banking monopolies, RFID (radio chip implants in order to track people), the New World Order (one single government) and other things like this. Rael saw this piece and gave an interesting perspective:
“Contrary to the negative commentary in this film, having a one-world government as explained in the Messages given by the Elohim is the only way to save Humanity. It could be democratically controlled by the people as well as eventually reaching geniocracy." Rael went on to say: "A world government is indeed much better than a total destruction through a nuclear world war. Additionally, control of criminals through implanted chips is also good and much better than prisons, especially if these chips can detect the mental sickness which creates violence. What would be terrible is if a world power were to destroy freedom and human rights using these tools. But this is already happening right now in several nations and it’s not necessarily what will happen with a world government, which, if it is controlled by the “people for the people”, can also be a model of freedom with the Declaration of Human Rights as a World Constitution. Not being a criminal and if all the freedoms of Human Rights would be granted, I would be very willing to have this chip implanted in me. And with the United Nations as a supervising authority of this world government it could work very positively. Besides, it’s much better than the current independent nationalistic powers accumulating nuclear weapons, preparing for the self destruction of Humanity and wasting huge amounts of money for national armies while children are starving and lacking education. The future is clearly more beautiful with a world government, a world currency, and a world language, which, when implemented all together will bring eternal world peace."

I did watch this movie on-line at their official web site. The video was free to download and a former friend of mine suggested that I look it up and watch it. I was a bit shocked at everything. This isn't to say that what is there isn't true or partially true. But I do believe it is going to take a lot of convincing to make people sacrifice their beliefs. I'd like to believe that things like microchips could be harmless, but everything in life contains some risks and it seems the more forward we drift into the future, the higher the risks become and more people are willing to take those leaps of faith. But I wish personally that we could take what we have now, be safer with our planet, go back to yesterday and see what we can to do make a better tomorrow. I think education will advance us, not war or government secrets. It's things like the 9/11 conspiracy that really got to me. I understand there may be something fishy going on with what was reffered to as "explosive devices" hidden amongst the buildings. The reckage was too damaged to find any proof of them though so who knows. All I know is that it's time to move on and remember, yes understanding the whole story is essential but most of all the people involved are the most important ones. I have personally stood at ground zero in 2003 after the towers collapsed. There was just a giant hole in the ground about a half a mile in every direction it seemed. And I felt an energy unlike I have ever felt. So I'd like to think we can be a nation of healing. I think we have a president who has made quite a few mistakes and hopefully a few good decisions along the way. But I am no Bush genius, I just know I have not been much interested in many of his decisions, but heck I've felt that way about others too. Then of course there's the religion segment of the movie where they describe Jesus as being the "sun" and how there were many deciples other than just the 12, and so on and so forth even going so far as to discuss the zodiac and the missing 13th zodiac symbol. That truly did fascinate me. I don't know what to make of it but I would like the opinion of others first as to better understand. Anyhoo those are my thoughts, toodles!
