Ok, ive just watched this program about the most hated family in America, the Phelps family. Now i want to know what other people think of this family. This family is a part of this Westboro Baptist Church whithin which they carry signs like "Thank God for 9/11", "America is doomed", "God hates fags," "AIDS cures fags," and "Fags die, God laughs (or mocks)," which i find absolutely ridiculous. They even went to a funeral of a soldier that died in Iraq, and when they were there they had pickets with signs on it saying things like the soldier got what he deserved and is going to hell.

While i was watching this program i couldn't help but feel an absolute hatred towards this family for such things, they say that the 71 people in their church are the only ones going to this so called "Kingdom of Heaven" and the rest of us are going to hell.
I know its wrong to hate people in a way that they should be banned from society but these people take their religion too far.

I would like to know peoples views and thoughts on this.

All sins are the same in the eyes of God. With this in mind, to judge another when it says in the Bible, "Thou shalt not judge..." makes them sinners. Hmm. So, if I go out and murder someone, it's the same as if I told my kid there really was a fat man in a red suit that brings gifts and candy? Interesting.

I'm a Christian, but all of this hypocrisy must end. All Jesus said was to be good and fair to one another. That's it. Nothing more, nothing less. Everything else that is quoted or tried to force down someone's throat is for control and money.

yes but this family doesn't do it for money, their own kids do the same protesting as their parents and the children even get beat up along with their parents because of their ridiculous ways, they dont get money from anyone else, and George Bush even made a law saying that no protestors can come within 150 feet of a soldiers funeral.
thats how bad this family is

Well if they are the only ones going to heaven then it will be easy for them to continue their inbreeding program....
