I got this forward in my mail box this morning and I wanted to see what peoples thoughts were on it. It is about Barak Obama.

Personally I don't care if Obama doesn't wear the american flag pin or thinks the national anthem is war-like. He's just telling people what they don't want to hear anyway. Our country IS oppressive to other countries, and if he doesn't want to choose sides than I say that's very noble, it doesn't mean he has no pride in his country, if he had no pride would he be running for president? I have mega pride in my country, do you see me wearing an american flag pin or saying our country is the best over the whole world? Nope, and the american flag outside my front door will sufice just fine. As for the anthem, everyone has an opinion, even the candidates for president. Why on earth are we even putting another maybe future president into a manufactured box?? Packaged for our convinience. That's just silly, we do need change. I'm not actually an Obama supporter, but I can't sit back and say we should be conditioning him to do everything we want. I think we have too many expectations out of candidate's personal lives and opinions. He takes plenty of pride in the country, that I do know. For me it was a total waste of my time reading this because it was petty. It's like someone took all the good out of Obama, the good he's done for people and his country and all of the promises and just shit on him for no reason at all. I swear to God singers and actresses have more influence over the american people than any president...so why don't we bash their american "pride"? Because they are not the president...*tiff*

Please read the article. That email is completely bogus. Yes a camera did catch Obama forgeting to put his hand over his heart ONE TIME..however the quotes there were not by him..they were part of a satire..that somehow right wing people "didnt get", took as legit quotes and are now using to smear Obama.

I hope to God that this was not really said by him. I've thought of him as an imbecile for a long time, but this... would just take the cake.
 This is my only point, IF this is legit: if he has a problem with American customs, and/or is personally offended by the we are perceived by other nations, THEN HE SHOULDN'T WANT TO BE OUR PRESIDENT! Simple as that. Do us a favor and drop out. --------------------  |

hmm...perhaps a fake e-mail? sheesh, I don't know what to say about that lol. Who knows, to me this is just silly to even worry about. The man is patriotic to the bone, I think people are just afraid that he might be "different" than the standard president wrapped up in a box and sealed like so may others before us.

whats with the obama phobia? is there a real reason with substantial evidence behind it or real reasons why that obama is a bad choice?
