Shouldn't TAPs be going places that have alot of ghosts.......like North American battlefields.....IE Gettysburg, Antietam, or northern Virginia. or TAPS Europe go to places like Verdun, Ypres, the Somme, Normandy and the dark places like Treblinka.

I sent a letter to both places offering my services to go to any of the places I mentioned.....who else would join me?

July 1, 1916....57,000 British soldiers were killed or wounded in 6 hours......if memory serves at least 15,000 were killed.

Wish I had the dough, I'd go in a heart beat.

There is a supposedly true story about someone with a metal detector that ventured onto a national park grounds somewhere in the south. It was a place where a big Civil War battle took place. It is illegal to use a metal detector in these places. As it is told, he knew this but was more interested in what great finds he would get. When he was found he was in a state of intense shock. His metal detector he had smashed against a tree. Some ghostly hand supposedly reached from out of the ground and grabbed an item he was busy digging up...supposedly!! Dunno

Civil war battle sites would be a great place for them to go.

SD.....I can understand why they were upset.....I've camped on a few Civil War battle fields...and the ghosts are there.....I just make sure they get their whiskey.....and that I ask their permission....so I usually have no problems

too much moonlight and moonshine.you can't make a mint out of ghost hunting, but i feel a wild goose chase would be more productive.Taps part time plumbers or part time ghost hunters.I've never watched such rubbish.Perhaps the old plumbing is not making enough cash.Do the pipes start knocking after they've been?

Fen....I know there are a few places in the UK I'd like to go.....especially Culloden Moor among many others. My friends think I'm nuts for wanting to travel to the UK and Europe to go to all these "morbid" places

I know someone who went to Bannockburn, he never saw anything but just started freaking out and getting really scared. He thought he felt someone touch his shoulder too. But never looked around. Too scared or something but everyone else didnt see anything sad.gif

I also heard something about a weird thingy that kills people in castles, that true?

Dead......I haven't seen anything either....but I've heard quite a few different sounds at places like Gettysburg and Antietam not to mention others....and I've felt them no doubt. I've heard a bit about Bannockburn before.....I'd like to go there....among other places

I watch the show religiously and have always wondered why they never explored more of Gettysburg other than the two places they went to previously. They should be investigateing the battlefields in my opinion. That's where most of the ghosts have been seen.

lady.....I watch it as often as my schedule allows and I enjoy it as well.....but except for the Waverly sanitorium.....they are looking for ghosts in ones and twos. I've read the accounts of numerous ghosts at Gettysburg and Antietam Battlefields.....so I'd love to see them go there.

I know they would get quite a few volunteers if they needed help.....walking alone in the more secluded areas of those fields is a interesting experience....so is guard duty at 2am.... blink.gif

yes it would be awesome if they would take a few volunteers with them. But I'm just going to take a guess and say it might have a lot to do with liabilities, requirements, space in transport and the search for proper people who are educated in investigateing. But the Ghost Hunters do have people out there investigateing in other areas of the world so that is nice. Now there is a Ghost Hunters International. So I'd say they are doing pretty well for themselves.

lady....I agree with you here....they are doing well......I'd love to see them do their over night searches at say Verdun, along the Somme and Auschwitz or Treblinka......I'd glady volunteer for overnights there as well

I hear you on that Castle. There were half-a-million killed at Ypres, one hundred thousand of which were never recovered. Now they want to make a highway right through there.
