Hi Cydonia ! !
I agree with you.
According to my opinion , when we will die , we will lose our individuality and , we will become an alone thing with the universe.

That only happens if you are part of collective mind.

Lets see if I can make this make some sense. I don't believe its an illusion , but I do think it's an illusion to believe that we are all so very different. We all strive to be different in some way from others, but in reality we are about 80% the same. We all need some one, we all need food, water, shelter, we all want to be needed. Our differences come in what we personally like and dislike. But the basic needs are all the same.
Does that make sense?

its more to do with our sense of self..we all want to be part of somthing and yet we all want to be seen as an individual,so its a a catch 22.Can you be part of somthing and yet retain your individuality?Religion excludes individuality.

memetics refers to the theoretical concept that behavioral patterns or a cognitive can be transmitted from one individual to another. (virus of the mind, so to speak)
we asorb the world around us, and learn through immitation, so it seems logical.
you only have to look at society to see this in effect; fashions, religions, jokes, catchphrases, songs, techniques, scientific theroies and political ideas are all passed on to new 'hosts' that then further spread the meme.
so its quite possible that our personalities are nothing but a selection of memes that we've chosen to store in our consciousness, which rules out any option of individuality.

You can't ask a psychological question in a paranormal board... sorry, they just don't go hand-in-hand AT ALL.

we think about being individual.
In reality we are not individual.
In reality we are not anything.
we am not to the center of the universe , as the religion and the history they have made us believe us we don't exist towards the universe..
