Are all of the crazy things children say, have seen, done, etc, just fantasy?
Could children for some reason be more sensitive to the paranormal realm than adults?

it's a common theory that children are more receptible to the paranormal, however, as time progresses the child will either develop or loose this ability as the world around him/her shapes their ideas and values, society conditions the child to either believe or not to believe in these type of things.
for example, a child runs into their parents room complaining of "a monster in the cupboard", or a child talks to an "imaginary" friend, the adults response is like any other parent, they asure them that there is no such thing, therefore setting a limit of the childs realilty....

I've often wondered this..as two of my children have had these experiences.when my oldest son was four he used to talk and play with a friend callled joe,an imaginary friend..although i used to hear him talk to this joe as if he was really there. He also said he used to see a strange man at his bedroom door.In our new house my 8 year old daughter said she saw an angel upstairs in my bedroom doorway..she smiled at her and amy smiled back and this white glowing lady went back into my room. She said she wasn't frightened and didn't tell us at first becuase she didn't think there was anything odd about it,until she saw an angel in a book. She said "Daddy i know that lady....I've seen her upstairs"

i think logically that a childs defenses may not be more prone to sensing other forces of existence, simply because they have a greater need for the "detection" instinct.

we are in a sense, swinmming in a sea of invisible energy.

when i was young, i could hear people behind me, its similar to a tv thats on, with the sound turned all the way down, its a certain high pitch frequency that people emit, that i could hear. nowadays, its not as natural, but i can still do it...

alot of people have this ability though, it think its quite basic. the more exotic are things like telekinesis, telepathy, precognition, etc.

It would make sense as your brain is functioning at it's highest capacity as a child...As you get older, so does the rest of your body and things begin to slow down and eventually stop...

If you have a baby just watch it thoroughly for a day and you will notice how they always seem to be looking at something that isn't there (at least to you it isn't)...I'm not a parent myself yet but I do have a baby sister and she is always staring at blank objects. I believe she is looking at something I'm just not sure what it is...It is said that babies have very sensitive eyes (IE. They can see the computer screen refresh) which leads me to believe they see things we simply cannot.

As a child you are tuned into a greater range of frequencies allowing you to perceive more things around you.
