in my opinion, all this talk about Armageddon happening is crap because it's just history's way of putting people into fear. Heck, we do it all the time in the media...fear drives the world to do anything. Now as for dates being set such as the year 2012, lol you bring it on buddies because you know we've been given dates handed down to us through so called psychics and ancient civilizations through paintings...and not a one of them have ever come true. Not one, zip, zilch.. Not to mention people were consuming things back then that gave them "visions"...this would be drugs my darlings, yes drugs exsisted back in time. John who wrote the book of revelation was known to have consumed something that GAVE him that vision of the end of days. So I'm sorry but that's just not relevant to believe a vision based on drugs. That's like saying if I go on an acid trip and hear a voice telling me to write something down, that every time I do it's a revelation. But it's not. Any nut case now days if he would have written something like John did, would be put into a mental hospital. But nope, people still believe because "It was in the bible" and supposidly everything in the bible is God's "word"...give me a break. So here's my plea, stop worrying people, it's nothing already. The only way our planet is going to die is NATURALLY! And there are no set dates. God isn't going to send his freakin angels down to fight with demons okay? It's allllllllllllll metaphores to fear us into being perfect and all worshiping to these nuts. But go ahead and believe anything you want I'm not trying to be disrespectful, I believe people can believe whatever they want without judgement, but my personal opinion is that the world is in a constant state of panic and it's sickening to watch. Ya, people could stand to look at the world anew and not as it once was. This planet is threatened by impending Armageddon yet not by anything people are talking about.

Fear has a trace of unwillingness to look at something clearly due to a belief that the very act of looking can harm you. So by this very fact, you can know that people that are afraid will not clearly see what is threatening them because they simply will not look directly at it.

It has, huh? Who says this? Where's the proof? There's DVD's. Have you watched them? The ones I've seen being showed on TV bust this 2012 fact. It's not going to happen. I don't know what all you people have a tough time understanding. The Mayans used a base 20 system, as opposed to our 7 day / 12 month system. All these scientist's say the world has experianced Armageddon before, which I doubt they know what they are talking about. Even if the bible does predict Armageddon, what does the bible know anyways? A lot of stuff written in there hasn't happened. One of the science channels, I think it was Discovery showed a 3 hour documentary busting the 2012 theory. I know a few Christians who don't even think the world is going end. Just because ink spelled into words on a peice of paper says something doesn't mean it's going to happen.

Whatever happened to

October 31st, 1998 - Psychic's assumed Satan was upset and was gonna cause a huge earthquake world wide that would destroy the entire planet.

August 2nd, 1999 - Earth was gonna collide with another planet and fall apart. I remember this date because I scared silly. Seriously.

January 1st, 2000 - A black hole was gonna destroy Earth right at 12AM.

June 6th, 2006 - Once again, Psychic's around the world saw a vision of the world becoming one big fire ball. Burning us all to ashes.

What happened on those dates besides being another day in the week? If psychic's were wrong, what makes you think the Mayan's are right? It's said that the Mayan's were right about 9/11 happening. WOW! Hang on! How would the Mayan's know anything about 9/11? There was never any buildings, planes or even electricity back when the Mayan's were around. December 21st, 2012 is just another dawning age. Not Armageddon.

Lets say a pole shift happens on that date. If it does, it'll take thousands of years until it is complete. You'll be dead in a grave by then. These doomsday theories have existed for hundreds of years. The world won't end today, it won't end tomorrow and it won't end in 2012. Doomsday is in everyone's mind, but not in reality.
