I think all the sea monsters swim low to the ground in the water. So when they die, their dead ass just stays at the bottom and gets eaten by other fish. It doesn't float up.

what do you think about this?
for all you chrono trigger fans *crickets* ITS LAVOS! lol http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n2k7cigzi6Y i think that we should stop referring to them as monsters now, what are we, 12? lol. i could understand the ancient navigators of old calling them monsters, but i think we have a better term to use here in modern times. seems like sometimes though we are still int the dark ages... Nothing goes to waste in the sea.Even bone is consumed.A dead carcass is a meal for some things.

If suppose they would go where most dead sea creatures go, to the ocean floor. It is not very often that we find whales and such floating around compared to the amount that dies.
