Just been reading that astronaut Edgar Mitchell ( 6th man on the moon ) has given an interview on Kerrang radio today 23/07/08 in which he stated we have been visited, and that UFOs have been covered up by the government for a long time.He says he's been in military circles and they know we've been visited and talk about it behind closed doors. He's been involved in certain research commitees and knows people who know the real story.Other lunar astronauts also know the truth.Contact IS going on.The Roswell crash was real.Doesn't know if Disclosure will be this year or not.Public acceptance is increasing. Not all UFOs are of ET origin. Some are ours. But some are Alien.Alien intent is not hostile. So thats what he had to say pretty revealing dont you think apparently the radio interviewer nearly fell off his seat when Edgar started to say all these things it seems like he finally wants the world to know the truth your thoughts please guys

It seems pretty insignificant. If it were significant, I am sure it would be all over the news.

one of the things that makes me question him is a short blurb from his wikipedia page:
QUOTE Mitchell says that a teenage remote healer who lives in Vancouver and uses the pseudonym Adam Dreamhealer, helped heal him of kidney cancer at a distance. Mitchell said that while he never had a biopsy (the definitive test for cancer), "I had a sonogram and MRI that was consistent with renal carcinoma." Adam worked (distantly) on Mitchell from December of 2003 until June of 2004, when the "irregularity was gone and we haven't seen it since." [11] I'm not sure how this makes me feel about his credibility.... |

It seems pretty insignificant. If it were significant, I am sure it would be all over the news. The news media is very wary of stuff like this. Notice how Area 51 just sort of slid into the mainstream. There was no fanfare, no one "moment". Twenty years ago it was still being denied, these days I can look down on Area 51 with Google Earth, and there's History Channel documentaries about it. I think the Mitchell interview is significant, in that it's further confirmation from other-than-nutcases of the existence of UFO's. |

After hearing about this, my first thought was: Wow! What an amazing statement considering its coming from an astronaut that has been on the moon. My second thought was either Dr. Mitchell has gone off deep end, or its 100% true, and thus confirmation that aliens are real - there can really be no in between. I found the actual audio clips from the radio station here: http://www.kerrangradio.co.uk/Article.asp?...04160&spid= ... and he sounded very sane and articulate. -------------------- |

one of the things that makes me question him is a short blurb from his wikipedia page: I'm not sure how this makes me feel about his credibility.... Well, he not running for president and as a former astronaut he was very reliable and credible. Now because he went to a remote healer...his credibility is questionable...? So what he says is questionable, because remote healing is reserved for those a little loony...? -------------------- QUEST FOR THE REAL TRUTH |

Remember Apollo 11? Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin were the first Earthlings to land on the Moon. Go to; http://www.ufos-aliens.co.uk/cosmicphotos.html and read from Page 9 to Page 11. These are conversations that were intercepted by Radio Hams with very sophisticated equipment. Some of you may have come across this information before but for those of you have not, enjoy. |

So what he says is questionable, because remote healing is reserved for those a little loony...? Lets not forget that this was gotten off of Wikipedia. He may never have said it at all. Such is the state of Wikipedia. I read a article the other day on Wikipedia and it sounded more like someones hate mail then a valid thing to say. Mitchell has made thes same claims for years. He claims his source of confirmation is officers in the military who he trusts and have revealed the truth to him. Whatever his other beliefs Mitchel has never been known to fabricate stories or to lie. He confirms what other evidence has supported for many years.

QUOTE Well, he not running for president and as a former astronaut he was very reliable and credible. Now because he went to a remote healer...his credibility is questionable...? So what he says is questionable, because remote healing is reserved for those a little loony...? If this is acurrate information on his wikipedia page it does give the impression that he is the kind of person who is very open to topics typically thought of as radical by mainstream science. Lets face it, the thought of believing that aliens from other planets have visited ours is not exactly accepted by true science because of the lack of physical evidence. The same can be said about long distance healing. I think its great someone like this is stepping up and saying something about these cover ups. But, we must be careful that we look for real facts and not just any facts. If a person accepts distance healing is legitimate without true proof, it taints the credibility of his acceptance of the coverup as well. Assuming this information is correct, the correlation between the two topics should be very obvious. With all do respect, if you are quick to overlook this connection it implies that you are looking for answers even in places they may not exist. Its important to see both sides of a possibility regardless of how excited we all are about it. |

I've recently began a collection of disclosure statements from sources deemed reputable...Mitchell's has been included..he's an elderly man with a good record of service...what has he to gain by disclosing this? Nothing. That speaks volumes, I think. I'm amassing quite a bit in my collection.
