Seems that ole footy may have gained an extra digit here.
Not that impossible, I recall that there have been people with more than 5 fingers or toes.

I am especially sceptical when it comes to big foot, there would be hair/stool samples to find no matter how elusive he might be, if he was real.
As for the extra toe, could always be atavism, happens in every other species.

Bigfoot has not behaved as a simple animal either.
There are some animals that bury their stool.
As far as hair goes, it could be that they do not shed their hair and would not loose it as easily as say a racoon or bear. And since it appears that there is going to be a lot less of them, I do not find the lack of stool samples or hair that surprising.

Could you mention a few animals that actually bury their stool? I have never heard of it, except for humans. And even i don't bother with it if i am in deep woods.
As for the hair, it is a bit far fetched to say that they don't shed hair. But then again, it would be hard to just "stumble" across a hair, and would be a bit weird that anyone would pick it up in case it was from a bigfoot.

But still, the only evidence for bigfoot is human testimony, and we all know how reliable that is. I would argue that i have never seen a video or photo that looked like it was the real thing, that includes the Patterson.

my goodness, are people STILL searching for this bigfoot character? They could be spending that valuable time with their family or loved ones. Tracking some fake beast is just silly. Just my opinion.

Well, the panda bear was a "fake beast" for well over 60 years before it was confirmed to be real. And it was professional people that looked for it, which is not the case with bigfoot.

Cats, including big cats like the Cheetah, also Badgers and others bury their feces.
And if bigfoot is a primate closer to humans than any other primate, I ask you. do we shed hair much? No we do not have as much hair, granted... but it could be that they rarely loose their hair.

I certainly do not have all the answers, but 1000 reports yearly, just in the US alone certainly is something to consider.
