Looks like our Pheonix lander, has indeed confirmed it.
Next question, is, how much is there?

More discoveries...

QUOTE
A giant, glassy lake larger than North America's Lake Ontario graces the south pole of Saturn's largest moon Titan, new research confirms.

"This is the first observation that really pins down that Titan has a surface lake filled with liquid," said lead researcher Robert Brown of the University of Arizona's Lunar and Planetary Laboratory in Tucson.

Called Ontario Lacus, the lake extends 150 miles (235 kilometers) and covers an area of about 7,800 square miles (20,000 square kilometers). The lake structure is filled mostly with methane and ethane, hydrocarbons that are gases on Earth but liquid on the bone-chilling surface of Titan.

The original link is broken, but a search on Yahoo! gave:

Most think water is a necessary component for life, as it is here on Earth. So, if it exist elsewhere in quantity, you could assume through others interpretation of how life began here, life in other forms is possible.

Now, the only thing is: Would they tell you right away? Probably would require a leak, since most balk at such. Curious as to know if the "spark" for spontaneity was/is there, for life, that is.

I think discoveries and possibilities (civilian space flight for instance) are coming so fast now that we are becoming desensitized to it all. Just another day, so to speak...

I posted the below on another thread regarding water on Mars. I guess it was missed… Water on Mars has been known for quite awhile… No big secret… (The Phoenix Lander launched in 2007.
Mars Odyssey launched in 2001. The Phoenix confirmed what the Odyssey observed in 2002)
The amount of water discovered by the Mars Odyssey mission is very impressive though.

“The NASA orbiter 2001 Mars Odyssey, searching for water ice beneath the surface, reported that in the regions of the planet north and south of 60 degrees latitude, the surface is well over 50 percent water ice by volume.

“If it were to melt, along with some water frozen in the Martian soil, the liquid water might be enough to form an ocean several miles deep on the low-lying northern hemisphere.”
http://www.spacetoday.org/SolSys/Mars/Mars...et/MarsIce.html

There isn’t a media conspiracy (or other type) trying to keep this info from the public.

The public just isn’t that interested in this information, so it doesn’t ‘sell’ on the 6 o’clock news and the 6 o’clock news doesn’t like to report that which doesn’t sell.

No conspiracy imho… ~rore

I wouldn't ride with that guy they got in the news, nowadays. When he test flew his first prototype for civilian use, the thing barely made it through the series of interjections it was opposed to. Looked like a cork screw gone crazy in the sky. He almost didn't manage to regain stable flight.
It was as if aliens didn't want him getting any closer, really...
