Blossom Goodchild
Like wildfires in the Australian outback, rumors of an upcoming mass televised UFO sighting over American skies are taking the Internet by storm. Blossom Goodchild, an Aussie actress and author, has the international Ufology community on its ear with channeled information concerning the eminent appearance of a massive extraterrestrial spacecraft for October 14th, 2008. Calling themselves ‘The Federation of Light’, these Beings from another world have stated to Goodchild that they intend not only to make themselves known, but also to remain more or less in place for a full 72 hour period, thereby providing the media with ample opportunity to once and for all capture on film evidence that will silence the skeptics and debunkers forever. The predicted rendezvous point? Alabama.

And here's the kicker; she isn't the only one making the prediction. Unbeknownst perhaps even to themselves, statements made by other individuals in the past corroborate her findings, one of these being immortalized on paper by Dannion Brinkley. In his latest book (entitled “Secrets of the Light” and published in 2004) on page 222 Brinkley says:

“By the year 2008, the fact that we are not alone in the universe will be made undeniably clear to everyone on the planet. With millions of planets and billions of stars, I cannot fathom how we could ever thought in any other terms. However, for those who have doubted, the extraterrestrials will make themselves known. I believe they feel they have no choice but to show themselves as we verge on self-annihilation, genocide and toxic poisoning. The truth of our inter-galactic lineage will become common knowledge. If I am to believe the vision, the truth of our intergalactic lineage will cause humanity to take one wild ride.”

A few things stand out in all this. For one, it is rather unusual for channels and mediums to give exact dates and places for events to occur - let alone the appearance of an alien spacecraft. Some leeway and margin of error is usually provided to allow for interpretation (and for people with less than honorable intentions, room to squiggle out from). Not in this case. Goodchild is adamant and steadfast on the date.

Another point to keep in mind is that from reading the materials on her web site (blossomgoodchild.com), Goodchild herself seems at odds with the information - almost as if she thinks herself unfit for the task of bringing this information to the world. This again, is quite unusual for channels and mediums. If anything, such people rarely exhibit doubt or disbelief in their own predictions.

Well cricket, with only a few weeks to wait, I hope you are right. I really do. I would like nothing better to have a new (big kid) on the block to knock some sense into us all. For this one at least, we dont have long to wait.

Maybe for once it will come to pass, who knows, but I really doubt it.

Well, unfortunately I have a 'psychic' prediction that sometime around October 15th we're going to get a 'message' that the display was delayed because WE weren't 'ready' yet. I'd LOVE to see a mass UFO display ... I just don't put much stock in channeling.

My gut feeling says we will be greeted by an empty stage on Oct 14 of this year.
If this was really set to happen, I feel we would get government whistle blowers, Ufo contactees, and psychics worldwide corroborating this event....there isn't.

cricket......it would be nice but.....I'm not going to get to excited about it happening because I doubt it as well...... ....but one never knows.

Message from the federation of light

Sadly Blossom is selling books;

My sister(spirit guide) says it will happen, but I have also been told I might have a close incounter on the 14th (sunday in NZ). If I do I will let any one know what happened if they PM me about it. The only odd thing is that it is about family or something aswell either my whole family will be taken or maybe I'm not fully human, man that would be awesome.

Be interesting to see what happens on this night, If my sister says yes it will hopefully happen.

I think when you name dates etc and things dont happen when you predict it then you pretty much lose your credibility

IF, Blossom Goodchild's prediction comes true then we aren't going to need disclosure. It will be there for all to see won't it ?

She sells her books and thats reason enough not to take her seriously. Even if something happens the reasons are never going to be enough for science.

When anything of this nature comes out, I always like to "read between the lines" so to speak, in order to see if there are any flaws in the story. Ususally, when people predict things that will happen in the future in an attempt to sell books or whatever motive they have, their human side comes out in the writing, and flaws can be detected. Since we are all human and imperfect, if you look close enough you can pick up on things that really dont make sense or are direct contradictions to what the author is saying.

In my opinion, this statement alone says it all:

"As the days draw nearer to October 14th much excitement is brewing. In recent channellings, ‘The Federation Of Light’ have expressed their concern over the amount of people who have not had the opportunity to ‘hear’ their message."

1.) Perfect reason to buy her book and learn more about the great day of awakening - Oct 14th.
2.) Why would the Federation of Light be concerned over the amount of people who have not had the opportunity to "hear" their message? On Oct 14th, if they were to show up for 3 days, as predicted, the whole world would know at that point!!!! Who cares if people had preknowlege of them coming.... unless they aren't coming and someone just needs more book sales
3.) Lastly, why isn't Blossom all over CNN, ABS, CBS, etc telling about her prediction of this wonderous event? Instead, in order to get the message out, she holds a Webinar (web - seminar). Oh, that will do it, for sure. The masses will all of a sudden come to their senses and know about the great awakening... NOT.

Folks, this again is a big hoax. The day alien species visit our planet, there will not be any predictions, or warning. They will simply show up and the world will be struck with both awe and fear.

I have to disagree with you. I don't doubt them at all. They say they are coming here to help save us. Our world is in a state of war right now. We have Americans fighting with Iraq, wanting to go to war with Iran. Who has nuclear capabilities right now and is willing to use them all in the name of Allah. Israel is wanting to go to war with Iran and Iran wants to, and has threatened to, and boasted about the fact they are going going to erase Israel from history, this is why they are coming, to keep us from destroying our earth and help us to get to a place of love. maybe the Federation of lights are worried that more people need to know so less people will be in shock, the easier it will be for us to move to a place of love with it all? I don't know, but i do know that i believe they are coming and I welcome them and look forward to it. and yes i have been called crazy,

as far as her getting paid, we all need to eat, we all have bills to pay. she is risking allot, her reputation is on the line here, why would someone go this far to sell a few books just to be called crazy. This information is free on her website, but you can bye the ebook if you want. I am ready for them. I have given my employees the day off, and am closing shop this day. When they do show up no matter how much we prepare for this, you and me, will be surprised...

Like all channeled information it has to be taken with caution.
if we Assume this information is authentic, Mrs Goodchild affirm that they will show up with the intention to shake the human conscience, to wake us up to the fact that we are not alone. that we are part of the galactic community. but, they do not pretend to intervene in any other way. meaning, they are not going to save us from the mess we are making to ourselves and the planet. These is our job and compromise.

In my opinion this message is coherent with the policy of the good aliens towards us.

In the 80´s a Peruvian contactee named Sixto Paz, had a similar message, Aliens told him to summon the media for a scheduled sightings in a desert south of Lima Perú. First and second night nothing happened, many journalist left the encampment believing it was a hoax, but for the third night, UFOS showed up, for those who stayed until last moment witnessed a spectacle of bright lights flying over the hills and the encampment, they were able to take pictures and video.
Images were broadcasted in the news in Argentina, Perú, Spain among a few other countries in Latin America. I most say a US Spanish tv network was present but their material was confiscated by customs officials in Miami airport.
Months later Mr. Paz traveled to USA for a conference, he was arrested in the airport by the INS and extradited back to his country with his visa canceled.


Anyway, lets see if this message is authentic, time will tell.

What proof do we have other than her word that they are coming? To your point, there have definitely been more turbulent times in our world's history than our current events. Why have they chosen this day over WWI or WWII when the whole world was at war? What about during the 60's when peace and love were promoted? That would have been a perfect time for a new awakening and most people would have been open to it.

I am sorry but Oct 14 just seems to be too a very random date to me. Guess we will both see....
