Where was that taken from? From a satelite or from the ground facing up?

I know what irrigation is, but not familiar with what was pictured.
Perhaps you could tell us where to find them and I could use GOOGLE Earth to look and compare.

Is it true if you're skilled enough that you can see the ISS with a 400x telescope? I remember living in these hills some years back and being able to see the Sierra mountain range. A neighbor pointed out the Mountains just over Lake Tahoe and Yosemite. I could actually see tree's in the mountain areas that I couldn't see with my eye. So I figured that was a good 140 miles from my house that if I could see a 30 foot pine tree I'de be able to spot something 300 feet long with the same telescope that is maybe 200 miles up. Has anyone actually taken a photo of the ISS from the ground outside of NASA or the Government

SD.....my apologies.....I'll try and find some examples for you to look at......I have no idea where that specific group is, so similar ones will have to do....give me a few mins and I'll get back to you

SD.....here are a couple similar areas.....the first one is in Dyer Nevada

http://www.mapquest.com/maps?state=NV#a/ma...0:::::f:EN:M:/e

the second one is near Moses Lake Washington

http://www.mapquest.com/maps?state=AZ#a/ma...0:::::f:EN:M:/e

Like I said its not the same one......but its the same basic type of pattern

ps.....there is more ENE of Crater Lake NP

good

Lets go on

Has anybody seen some crop circle in similar configuration.

No

Why?

Simply because our brain alway find something familiar with these crop circle.

While for this configuration top our brain has not a lites clue.

So one sing is terrestrial origin while for the other we can only speculate.

That is what is the most important about this video

There must be some explanation why this is the right configuration and not some other. And we are not able to touch that causes.

What do you thing?

Great find

but there are two problems

Or you have to find a way how to put these tanks on clouds or how to put these clouds over Saudi Arabia.

I think the first choice would be easier task.

rembrandt.....why do we need to put farms in the clouds?..... blink.gif ......because Mir was just filming some irrigation farming area on the ground......just in an unknown place on earth because the vid didn't say if I remember

Thanks CB & Fen.

You got to admit Rembrandt, there is not much good clear video to it to judge whether it is airborn or on the ground.
They look perfectly stationary relative to each other.
While their size seem extreme, that could be decieving as well.
I agree with CB,s take on it 'irrigation areas'.

Do we agree on one thing

There is a cloudy weather over that region.

Yes or No?

Then what kind of camera they should have to shoot these thank trough clouds.

Yes I knew you can shoot trough clothes. So can you imagine what these Russians can do with this special Through Clouds Camera. Maybe they can see and shooting what you are doing in bead.

What do you think?

Second thing.

If you look at a color of clouds, you can see that is a part of earth. But when they zoom or change a leans, you can see a same color of the background. Simply from the same angle the clouds in stratosphere and ground could not have same color.

Do we agree on that ?

Yes or No?

rembrandt.....because of the quality of the video.....(horrible)....its hard to tell if there are clouds or not.....but IMO it does not appear that there are......foward looking infared radar (FLIR) is one of the ways to look through clouds and darkness.....it is not that secret.....it is even included on some automobles these days.

The second thing....I'd say that the quality of the video is still horrible even when one changes the saturation...(I think)....it shows the exact same thing.....just in a different color.

IMO....it is a farming operation on the ground in an otherwise arid region.....mind you....I mean cirles of crops....not crop cirles......the irrigation method is a very large sprinkler that rotates over the crops and can be a mile across.....so what we are looking at is quite a large farming operation....we just don't know where....its just in some arid climate.

When you are so certain about what you are talking, my I ask you one question.

What is size of these suppose farming cylinders you are talking?

Just let we say we have in the first frame almost complete earth. Obviously we knew a diameter of the earth, and if we estimate the size of these cylinder on the earth to the earth size, then we can very easy calculate the zoom ratio of that camere. But if Russians or Nasa never designed that zoom leans, than you cylinders and theory is fallen in the mud.

Right or Wrong ?

Yes or No?

There is no other way out of this.

By the way the same calculation goes if we knew what camera they have had at a hand on MIR.

If we knew the zoom ratio and put it on maximum and take a earth size in account we can easily calculate the size of these radius of these cylinders.

What do you think?

Can someone make a try.

They are oil storage tanks, there is no vegetation to irrigate.i saw them on a documentary about what can be seen from space on earth(bugger all on a cloudy day). They are in Saudi Arabia, the picture has been enhanced.making the structure look bigger.Mystery solved.

Just take a look at frame 0,55 - 0.60

And tell me what you see.

Sand or watter under clouds?
