Say one day you are taking a nice walk through the woods and you happen to stumble upon a ufo parked in a clearing. You walk up unsure that what you are seeing is in fact real, and sure enough it is. A being walks out of the craft and approaches you with a proposition. "We would like to offer you the chance of a lifetime!" it says "How would you like to join are crew, and travel the interstellar byways of the universe?". "Are journey will last 10 years of your earth time, but when you return 1000 years will have passed on your planet; everyone you know will be dead, and life on this planet will be completely different then anything you could remember, you must decide quickly for we must leave now".
Would you leave everything you know behind? For all you know they could eat you as soon as you walk onto that ship, or perhaps they suffer from interstellar BO and have an allergy to deodorant. Or it could be an amazing adventure of the likes Flash Gordon and Han Solo would die for. Would you go? |

Without a doubt. Seeing other alien civilizations, other parts of the universe as well as witnessing the future on earth. There is no way I would decline.

My issue is that I imagine it being like a sci-fi show and god knows it wouldn't be. Still, I would go just for the slim chance that it would be, and I have always wanted to hook up with a hot blue alien...
